  • Blacks out everything but the sun.
Just got them in and tried them out on the sun. They work great, fits adult and my 9 and 13 year old kids. Can’t see anything but a little ball of light. Doesn’t hurt your eyes at all. Great sturdy product!

  • Not as dark as others but clearer and on list of approved manufacturers.
I ordered these along with the Medical King Brand. They look very similar however the Medical King version is very very dark and you can only see the sun when its not obstructed. These glasses are a bit less dark and you can see the sun more clearly as well as the cloud highlights. This SEIC version is closer to what you see with paper glasses, so I'm not sure which of these two is the "safest." But I think these would work better if the sun is obstructed by clouds. Also the medical king version did bring a nice ISO certificate with a map, and these did not. All that being said this company is on the NASA approved list of manufacturers and are similar to paper ones being handed over all over the place. ... show more

  • Unmarked box - no paperwork - Are they Legitimately Safe?
This are sturdy glasses, individually packaged, Block visible light and sun is viewable as an orange ball. HOWEVER, there is absolutely no marking on the packaging or the glasses themselves regarding manufacturer, and no CE or ISO labeling on the box or the glasses. Not confident about these and eyesight is too precious to compromise. ... show more

  • Great plastic frame glasses that work!
I compared a bunch of different options so my family and grandkids could watch the upcoming eclipse 04/2024. I ordered this kit as it had 6 plastic and 5 paper ones. I needed 4 of the plastic for the adults (to go in front of glasses) and 4 of the paper for the kids. Opened one up and they are legit as I was unable to see anything through them except a very faint spot when staring at a bright light bulb. I first ordered this and got just the plastic ones, figuring it was a mistake on my part by ordering the wrong ones, I went back to the Amazon listing and the product description, pictures and even in the customer reviews it showed 6+5. No biggie, I returned the box since there was no way to contact anyone to say hey just send me the 5 paper ones please. I quickly got the replacement order from Amazon - thank you - however its also missing the 5 paper ones! If I wanted just one or the other there were cheaper options, but this combo kit provided the best value by saving me about $7 vs individual purchase. Unfortunately since there's no way to talk to a real person nor click "missing some pieces" for returns, I will just have to take a refund and buy another brand. ... show more

  • Appears to Meet ISO/NASA Standards
My biggest fear is damage to my eyes, so before testing them I watched a couple of YouTube videos to make sure these were sufficiently dark. When I received them I found I could not see a 100 watt LED bulb, looked towards a window and no light passed through, decided to go outdoors and look up at the sun. The sun appeared as an orange disk, and I even saw a sunspot. These appear to meet the standards of ISO and NASA. They also included 5 paper ones, they worked the same. Great value and work as promised. ... show more

  • Snazzy glasses and a bonus
These are some snazzy solar glasses. They also came with extra disposable solar glasses, which i wasnt expecting. They're an excellent value! Comfy and affordable

  • Excellent Buy These
GET THESE FOR SOLAR ECLIPSE VIEWING! They are from a US Based company with a VALID ISO Standard Certification, where VALID is the key word. They have plastic frames not cardboard and should be able to be reused in the future. The price is VERY REASONABLE considering that a few more dollars for the glasses is worth far more than the permanent eyesight damage poor quality glasses can cause. ... show more

  • SCAM DO NOT BUY
The packaging came with no paperwork and no instructions, and the glasses did not have the ISO Certification mark on them so I decided to test them with the lights inside my house. I can clearly see all of the lights in my living room, which should NOT be possible with real ISO 12312-2 Certified eclipse glasses. They are definitely NOT SAFE for direct solar viewing. DO NOT BUY. I will be reporting the seller to Amazon, this is ridiculous. ... show more
