This 2x pack of Solar powered pathway lights by VIRIDI came packaged well, protected with lots of bubble wrap. The lamps are slightly larger than I expected, but that is good. They have an an average weight to them as well. The build is solid, and the design offers the ability to take the top off for cleaning, and turning the light on/off. I have verified that these solar lamps charge quickly, and will hold a string LED light through out early evening, thru the morning. I give these lamps 5x stars because of the attention to good packaging, and a well working product. But overall rating is 4x stars, per I wish there would be 3x lamps in the set, vs. 2x lamps for the price. ... show more

These are solar color changing pathway lights. I live in a cloudy area, so it took some time to charge. I am also not using these for a pathway. I have them in a large circular area I wanted to light up at night. I only had two of these, so I put them next to a couple of my favorite yard decorations I have out. It's so cute, I love the way it lights these up and changes color. I am not sure how well they will hold up in super bad winter weather because we seem to be done with that for this year. I may put them away for winter. But they are out now, and they look great and have been working since I put them out. ... show more

I have been experimenting with solar. I am looking for solar path lighting that will last into the wee hours of the morning when I send my pups out for the last walkabout for going to bed which could be 10 hours after dark in the winter and light the path and steps off the deck into the backyard. These lights are nice. They worked right away and light up the area nicely. I have it on the color setting, but it does switch to white as a part of the color rotation, which I wish wasn’t the case. The color also changes quickly, so if you’re looking for more of a slow rotation, that would be these lights. All pictures were taken without a flash. Our porch lights don't extend out far enough to light the entire walkway, just our alcove, so I am on the hunt for solar lights to light the pathway. I am trying to avoid both the floodlight iption - as we get lots of night time critters passing through or a small solar light every 2 feet, as I am the one doing the lawn and tend to either run them over or destroy them with the trimmer. The media could not be loaded. These 2 solar lights come nicely packed in a custom box with clear, illustrated directions. ALSO: they come charged & ready to light up, too! You simply take out of the box, pop off the black top to move the switch to “On”, insert the 2 stake parts into the light, & VOILA! Done. Find a place where they can solar power during the day & you can see them at night (see my video!) They cycle through the colors automatically OR you can set the switch to simply stay lit. They don't stay lit all night during the winter but I'm wondering if during the summer months they will last longer with more sunshine. They do still last several hours every night. They are not super sturdy just plastic. But so far have stood up to some snow. ... show more
