It is sturdy, and it comes with all the tools necessary to assemble it. The instructions are self explanatory. I was able to put it together in 2 hours. It is big enough to carry a blender, a stand mixer, toaster, cake stand, and baking sheets (I am a baker) and there is still room for more! I purchased this at least a year ago and it is still holding up. It's even been moved several times and has snagged on some of the tiles but it is still pretty sturdy. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because it will sway a little if you push it with your hand. The instructions to install were easy to understand but the actual assembly was a little difficult and took over an hour to complete. I keep two coffee makers on the top, a rice cooker on the bottom left and a bunch of miscellaneous items everywhere else. The surfaces are still in good condition; no stains or peeling of the finish. It was easy to put together. The size is perfect as I didn't have a big space just needed some more area for my appliances. It's sturdy, strong and so lovely in my kitchen. Also, the shelves are a perfect size and hold not only one appliance but several depending on the size of the item.

One of the support X beams *wasn't drilled through* so it can not properly secure the back for safety and sturdiness. Several of the screws were also defective and either already stripped for the allen wrench, or not made properly so you can not get a good grip and secure them well. There is no number to call on the information sheet for a replacement piece, so my only option seemed to take it all apart, repackage, find some way to return this to amazon, and get another. So don't expect customer service. It's also WAY smaller than I expected, somehow. It's quite short, and the shelves are not adjustable which I didn't think would be a problem...but aren't really useful. However, it is nice looking. ... show more
