I have these under the feet on the standing tables in my sewing room. They are great on hardwood floors. I can easily slide my tables when I want to. They are prefect if you work in a small space and need to be able to rearrange for different tasks. I use my tables for multiple jobs, and with these I can easily slide one table under my projector when I'm cutting and slide it back against the wall when I'm done.

hardwood furniture glides
The product is thin on the carpeted side. The plastic side for the furniture legs is slippery. The furniture slid off the product and did not glide on the floor. It did not work.

Work great for our bed
I ordered these because our queen size adjustable bed is too heavy for us to move in our senior years. A few times a month we notice the head of the bed moves away from the wall and the pillows fall to the floor. It's a heavy frame and mattress and it was hard on my 72 year old husband to keep pushing it back, the feet had rubber bottoms and were resistant to moving on the hardwood floors. I started to look for a solution and found these. My husband measured to make sure these were large enough and they have room to spare. The hardest part for us was tilting up each side of the bed to slip these under each foot, 3 on each side. Thankfully we got it done and now the bed moves VERY easily and we just have to gently push it back against the wall with very little effort. Thank you for this product.

No Foam Makes a Difference
I purchased a variety of furniture protectors. They all worked well when it came to moving furniture. What made the difference was when my puppy decided to urinate near a chair. I cleaned up the mess but discovered that the foam had died the floor. I replaced all of the furniture slidesvwith these. What I found was that the foam pads leached color within a few hours.

These have worked for me for years
I have several pieces of furniture with metal legs and knew, when I redid floors, that the new ones would never survive those legs. I bought and used these casters and the floors are still in good shape around that furniture. (The floors overall have suffered from 11 years of use, but the metal furniture legs haven't done any more damage than plain use over time.) And these continue to work even if/when dented and well-used. I occasionally pulled them out to vacuum the bottoms and tops (lots of dog hair here), but you may or may not care to do that. If you're worried, buy them. Lets you protect your floors for a very reasonable price.

Great for use on hard floors
I love these floor savers. They are extremely durable and keep my floors from getting scratched up. The felt bottoms help furniture slide for easy moving.

Not as described
These are not as described as they are just over 4 inches total with the inner square for furniture leg only just over 2.5 inches. The will not accommodate my furniture which have a 4 inch foot. They were supposed to be 5.5 inches with a 4 inch inner square. So disappointed. Bought 16 of them!!!

chair sliders
the wooden chair legs do not stay in the the round caster cup so it did not work for what we needed it for. however works well under a piece of furniture on carpet in the living room

Doesn’t stay in place

Works well with a heavy table on tile floor.
Update Nov2017 after four years of use: Still working great. I only move the table 3 or 4 times a week now. Highly recommended. Original 2013 review: My table used to grate badly when pushing it on the tile floor. The wooden table is about 4 x 7 with 1/4" glass to protect the top. I can now push it smoothly as if the 1/8" grout lines didn't exist. No more grating noise! Because I move the table twice per day, I've been looking for larger glides than I could find locally. The carpeting on the glide side should be more durable than the felt covered products from other vendors. I'm not sure why the manufacturer put directions on the back of the box (see photos). If you can get the box open without directions, you can probably figure out how to use these on furniture. Reminds me of the stupid-joke about not being able to pour water from a boot with directions on the heel.
