I actually got these for a large heavy piece of exercise equipment I've had from the 90s. One of the reasons I rarely used it is because it needs space to be used, because one's legs glide back and forth, but when not in use it needs to stay out of the way and it was too cumbersome to move back and forth each time. I put one of these under each leg of the machine and now it glides back and forth on my carpet like it weighs 5 lbs! Amazing! I only wish I had thought of getting gliders for this sooner. Why I got this brand was because of the size. I didn't think the round small ones would be big enough. I had to move a very heavy wooden computer desk with attached hutch, once this sliders were placed under each of the 4 legs it easily slide across carpeted floor, also move a queen size bed with headboard was able to slide it across the room so that I could paint the wall. No problem getting both pieces of furniture moved once the sliders were in place. Computer desk was very heavy I couldn't lift any of the corners by sheer muscle but using a couple of blocks of wood, pry bar and a small piece of old carpet for padding I was able to life each corner easily to get the sliders in position. These worked great on carpeted floors & I have no idea how they would work on other surfaces. ... show more
