So. If I could kiss the vendor I would! My husband was going to pay someone to put it together. I told him I read the reviews and I think I can build it, pay me lol . So After I realized I'm horrible at using a power drill I just used the tool that came with it and was able to assemble it within maybe 2 hours. The instructions are awesome and simple. And it's sturdy and not a piece missing or chipped or scratched. I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old that were never crib babies and I've tried the toddler beds and all but this was a hit. They love it and I cried! Its super low to the ground so I'm not too concerned about my babies falling out. Its very sturdy and did I mention I put it together by myself. And yes I did get my paid. Lol you guys if you want your kids to sleep in their own beds because you just can't seem to kick them out of yours lol this is the way to go. P.S. the rug, the curtain and bed spreads all from Amazon. IKR!!! P.S.Again. excuse the toy boxes ... show more

Around 3 hours to assemble the bed with one 6-year old "helper". Nicely constructed bed with easy to follow/detailed instructions. You'll definitely want to have an electric screwdriver handy for securing the slats in. Other than that the provided allen wrench will be all that's needed to assemble. Pleasantly surprised how sturdy the bed is. Assembly took about 45 min, solo, not difficult. A couple of the boards were made short about 1/2” or so. Won’t come out of the holes but slides back and forth, not sure how they managed that. The holes for the nuts are large and can turn inside hole which crushes the pressboard, so just make sure they are straight when tightening. First couple of times down the slide, kids wrecked hard, it’s steep. But they figured it out. All in all I would buy again, for a sub 200 bunk, it works well. ... show more

My daughter loves her new bed, especially the slide. Relatively easy to assemble. I put it together by myself and just had my husband help me to place the beds on top of another. Took about 1.5-2hrs. No issues so far after about a month.

My kids loved their bed! It was a surprise for them so I had to make sure and build it while they were in school. I was nervous in the beginning but it was very easy step by step instructions. I will say, it is definitely easier building with a partner.

Bought this to finally get my kids out of their shared bed. It was pretty easy to set up considering, had all the nails and screws, but it's a very soft wood. Put my smaller child on the top because the bigger one accidentally broke the railing. The slide broke off as well, and it wiggles and cracks in a very concerning manner. Had to add support and the donated wood I used is sturdier, and completely necessary. That said, it hasn't fallen and my kids love it. It isn't super heavy so I could move it into place by myself after building it, and it looks great. Also, it's so nice having the space AND two beds. Which was the goal. ... show more
