  • Very easy to use
It is very easy to use and get the job done. just be careful to use it wisely and don’t waste it in order to cover all your windows.

  • Works
Only issue I have is when your driving at low speeds and it’s just misting water doesn’t seam to fly off. Heavy rain and 50mph plus no issue no wipers. No visible wear on the product after 3 months.

  • Lastest 6 mints - all winter
Liked easy application, at high speeds. As promised water sheeted off. Also in winter bonus not expected was how easy it was to scrape frost off windshield. Lastest fall and winter when we get most rain so happy with it. Not sure if windshield fluid degrades the product as used such all winter long.

  • Top Notch Hydrophobic Barrier, Outperforms Rain-X & Easier to Apply
This review is for SOFT99 4146 Ultra Glaco Glass Cleaner, 70 ml. This product is called glass cleaner, but it is not a glass cleaner. It is a hydrophobic barrier, like a Rain-X. I had been using Rain-X for years, and I liked the results. When I ran out of my most recent Rain-X bottle, I decided to see if there was anything out there that outperformed Rain-X. After reading many consumer reviews, professional reviews, and watching results videos, I came across a few that supposedly outperformed Rain-X. Ultra Glaco seemed to have the best results, and it had claims of lasting 6-12 months. The longest I ever got with Rain-X was around four months, and so I ordered the Ultra Glaco. The application of Ultra Glaco was super easy, and it was a lot easier than Rain-X to apply. The application process is clean the glass, apply Ultra Glaco with built-in felt pad, let cure dry for 5-10 minutes (don't let it dry for too long or it can be difficult to wipe off), wipe off, then let cure for 12 hours. Here is the overall process I did for my car windows. I washed the windows with car soap and water using a microfiber towel, then wiped the soap off with a damp microfiber towel, and I dried the windows with a microfiber towel. I then did two cleanings with Invisible Glass Glass Cleaner and a microfiber cloth followed by an application of Invisible Glass Glass Stripper. After this I did an application of SOFT99 4146 Ultra Glaco Glass Cleaner. The overall results were excellent. Water beads right off at a more aggressive rate and a lower wind speed than with Rain-X. My windshield wipers are almost completely stutter free now. There are additional steps that can be done to clean the glass even further. One thing would be to use a high-speed buffer with a foam pad and a glass cleaning compound, such as Glass Stripper. You can also clay bar the glass in the same way you would clay bar the paint. I have seen videos of people using ultra-fine grade #0000 steel wool to clean glass as well, but you would need to be extremely careful that you get the ultra-fine grade, use gloves, and don't touch anything that is not glass. On a side note, the newspaper trick is great for no lint, but then you wind up with ink on your hands and possibly on the car if you aren't careful. A good quality microfiber is the way to go, and yes, there are big differences between microfiber brands out there. I have used some that just don't clean and leave lint, to others that are so effective that they can actually clean just with water. ... show more

  • Not impressed
Easy application but pretty poor performance. Supposed to be effective for up to a year but after @ two months (with light usage) the performance is down at least 50%. Will not buy again.

  • Invisible glass replacement
Just got this for my BMW, which I baby... Had always used invisible glass before this product. Coats easy, wait 10 minutes, wipe clean with no streaks/wipe marks. Was afraid of the bottle not having more liquid but it seems like it nearly uses the liquid with the built-in applicator.

  • I'll go back to using RAINx...
Tried this because all of the reviews state it is easy to apply and works better than RAINx. What a joke. Yes it was easy to apply, but it DID NOT work. I even applied it twice. I'll go back to the STANDARD repellant - RAINx.

  • Works as advertised, easy application.
Very impressive hydrophobicity. Not sure about the 6 months claim; it only rains about 4 months here anyway. Easy application and removal. Only complaint is the price per application, I wish we had a domestic distributor of this product. For me, it's worth the expense as I drive lot.
