Bought this to go on a trip with my 6month old (16pounds). It’s not stable or sturdy. It moves, slips and slides. Do not use if your baby can’t hold themselves up. There isn’t enough cushion to protect their head when it slips, may cause them to hit their head on the edge of the sink (if it’s not a large sink). The only good thing about this bath seat is it was easy to pack in the suite case! I didn’t even bring it back from the trip, Tossed it in the trash after 2 attempts to use without success. It does the job. I love that it is easily broken down for storage and fits well in the sink. It is not firm or strong enough to use for an infant who can’t sit up unless you add something behind or hold the baby’s heat the whole time while washing. I still use it And like it enough. I thought this would be perfect to bathe my 3 month old in at the sink instead of crouching at the tub but it wasn’t all that great. It fit well in the sink and I like how compact it folds up when not in use but either my baby was sliding down because there’s no butt bump(?) to keep her propped up or the whole tub slides around making it hard to wash your baby and keep it in place at the same time. It’s gotten better as she’s gotten older and can sit up on her own but I don’t think it’s very practical for babies that can’t sit up yet. ... show more
