    • Pretty cool, but not like the laser
This head definitely does a better job than the standard one on hardwood floors. We have recently done a lot of construction and there is dust all over the house. I can see it on the floor when I shine a light parallel to the floor. In fact, for the regular Dyson head I have a little laser thing (I bought on Amazon) attached to the side of the brush head. It works quite well and shows all the dust. I can therefore tell that it was not picking up all the dust. This head does pick up all the dust, but the green LEDs are either not as effective as the laser OR they are just a little too far off the ground to highlight the dust effectively. good with dirt, not as good with a lot of dust. ... show more

I was really looking forward to this product based on the description, but it didn’t meet my expectations. The quality wasn’t as good as I hoped, and it didn’t work the way it was advertised. Overall, I’m disappointed and wouldn’t recommend it

We initially purchased a similar product without the built-in light, but we found that its brush wasn’t very effective on our hardwood floors. In contrast, this one has been a game-changer. The brush design works incredibly well on hardwood surfaces, making it much more efficient and suitable for the majority of our home. The media could not be loaded. I bought a second Dyson vacuum cleaner for cleaning the second floor of my house. I already have the V11 on the first floor, which comes with a brush head with a light. For the second floor, I got the V8, but it doesn’t include a lighted brush in the set. So, I decided to purchase the brush separately. The plastic is sturdy and well-made. It easily connects to both Dyson V8 and V11. The brush is wider compared to the original Dyson head and very flexible. It is a bit noisier than the original, but it cleans thoroughly.
