I was looking for a soft brush vacuum for my hardwood floors. I viewed conutless items, but did not like the price or they were not what Iwas looking for. And then, i saw ads for just the roller or a replaceable head for my aged Dyson cordless vacuum. I order this one and am very pleased with this-picks up the smallest dust debris from the grooves in my floor(which the Swiffer could not pick up) and I don't have to get the broom and dust pan to pick up what my swiffer would not pick up. The LED light is great for spotting the smallest pieces I miss om my dark floor. My floor looks great now.

I have a 6 yr old Dyson V8 Absolute cordless vacuum. I bought a new Dyson battery and a new vacuum head with green light. My Dyson is working like new.

This head definitely does a better job than the standard one on hardwood floors. We have recently done a lot of construction and there is dust all over the house. I can see it on the floor when I shine a light parallel to the floor. In fact, for the regular Dyson head I have a little laser thing (I bought on Amazon) attached to the side of the brush head. It works quite well and shows all the dust. I can therefore tell that it was not picking up all the dust. This head does pick up all the dust, but the green LEDs are either not as effective as the laser OR they are just a little too far off the ground to highlight the dust effectively. good with dirt, not as good with a lot of dust.

I was really looking forward to this product based on the description, but it didn’t meet my expectations. The quality wasn’t as good as I hoped, and it didn’t work the way it was advertised. Overall, I’m disappointed and wouldn’t recommend it

This Dyson accessory works better than the original part and picks up almost everything. I have a new doggie and wanted something to pick up all the loose hair and dander and this seems to do the trick. Is not very loud be and the light is nice and bright. Great purchase!

This is a great addition to my Dyson. Works perfect. Picks up really good. Very soft for Wood floors. It sounds a little different than the carpet attachment but not loud. Very happy with with this attachment
