I have tried liquid blushes before, but this is my first one with this type of applicator. Instead of the squeeze sponge like I'm used to, this has the sponge attached to the inside of the lid. On my first try with it, dabbing a few dots on each cheek and then blending in like the instructions say, I ended up with VERY rosy cheeks. I played around with it and found that I need to scrape the sponge on the edge of the container before application. This really helps keep me from overdoing it. The color (Rose) is beautiful and works well on my fair skin leaving me with rosy cheeks with a bit of shimmer. It has a creamy texture and is buildable without getting tacky. I'd never tried a liquid blush before so decided to give this one a try. Shook the container, per instructions, then put 2 dots on a cheekbone & rubbed it in, then repeated for other side as I didn't want to be rushed, and have the product dry out too much. Very happy with the result. The rose shade worked well for my very fair skin. It has an almost bronzer like undertone. Quite nice and natural looking. Noticed, after ordering, that buried in the text was a comment that the Rose shade had sparkle in it - which had me concerned as I dislike glittery makeup. There are some sparkle bits, but not much, and when blended in I didn't notice them at all. Do recommend washing your hand after applying as some tranferred to my fingers when rubbing it in. this is a very pretty blush! the shade rose is pretty—very pigmented and looks more coral once blended out. a little goes a long way with this blush, so don’t make the mistake i made by pressing too hard on your skin. just do little dots and it blends out beautifully. there is a slight shimmer and i can see the glitter in the blush, but it’s not too noticeable when you blend it out. i think it adds a nice subtle natural glow actually. one thing i don’t like is the applicator. i said a little goes a long way, but the bottle doesn’t come with a stopper so when you pull out the wand you have to try to get the excess product out , and this gets annoying because there is A LOT of excess product…. other than that the blush is pretty. ... show more
