When this mattress was deliver, the box was in pieces, but upon further inspection, the matto was intact And no damage was done to it. We purchased this mattress for our camper, because as you all know the mattresses in campers are not comfortable. This mattress is the perfect ballance between soft and firm. Upon opening the plastic around it,it sprung to life and I was hard pressed to not test it out before the recommended time to allow it to fully inflate. I sleep like a baby on it. The material of the mattress is good. I cover all my mattresses with an anti bacterial cover so I am sure I will hold up well. Since it will only be used when we go camping, I think it will last as long as we own the camper. I purchased this mattress during Prime Days and got an excellent price on it. The mattress was shipped quickly and was well packaged. It was easy to remove the mattress from the box and unwrap it. It even came with a safe cutter to prevent damage to the mattress. After a few hours it expanded to its full size. We let it sit for a few days. There was absolutely no odd smells from the mattress. We bought this for my son. It’s comfortable enough but there’s no memory foam. If there is, it’s not enough to claim it’s a memory foam mattress. It is a spring mattress. Also, the sides aren’t very strong. If you sit on the edge it’s sinks down. Like I said, it’s comfortable enough for the money so I gave it 4 stars but I wouldn’t buy it again because I was looking for an actual memory foam hybrid. ... show more
