We have a lovely green velvet couch that is still like-new after 22 years, and we plan to keep it indefinitely. But our cat loves to scratch it even though he has his own scratching posts and furniture. For a long time I had those clear plastic sheets that stick to furniture and prevent cats from scratching. Well, they worked fine but it also meant we couldn't use the furniture either without having to remove and replace the plastic anti-scratch sheets. So when I came across this couch protector - and in so many colors - I was thrilled! The large size was the right size for the couch, the color was right, and it is even reversible if I want to use the lighter shade. It's a nice soft fabric that is easy to vacuum hair off or and easy to wash, and now all of us plus the cat can use the couch and still keep the green velvet in mint condition. I did not end up using the straps that came with it because the shape of the couch does not go up in back so there is nothing to wrap the straps around, but the protector still works perfect, tucks in well, protects the arms, and I love it! It's a great value and highly recommend getting one if you are looking for something like this.

I got this assuming it was waterproof, it is not. If used to protect furniture from incontinance you will need to put a disposable pee pad underneath. The side tabs used to secure the strap across the back are not very sturdy and only lasted a month or so. On the plus side it washes well in warm/hot water with no wearing, fading or pilling, has a nice smooth feel, provides decent coverage and looks ok

I wanted a cover to protect my new sofa from dog fur and wet paws. This product is ideal. It's a nice color and it is large enough to tuck in securely. The elastic strap for the sofa back isn't necessary but it does help keep it secure

We have these covering our sectional (1 couch, 1 corner and 1 love seat). They are inexpensive, washable and hold up pretty well. We have had to replace a couple of them due to the dogs getting holes in them but its not the products fault. We have 2 very young and energetic German Shorthair Pointers so these covers take a beating but most certainly have saved our furniture. We wash and dry these probably at least every other week or if the dogs drag in mud. Really dont see any wear and tear on the other than when one of the dogs chewed the binding off and another poked a small hole with her too long nails by digging into the material (damaged the cover but saved our couch!!). I willl buy these again and again.

they'll do but the ban across the back just doesn't work and constantly slips to one side or the other. I'm keeping so I'll come up with a way to secure it myself. Otherwise the look is fine and does the job. It is a constant job of putting back in place though. Haven't had them long enough to speak to strain resistant but I did wash when they arrive and they came out perfectly.

We just got a puppy who, right or wrong, will be allowed on our outdoor patio sectional sofa. The "L" shaped sofa has Sunbrella fabric covers that wash up super nice, but they are off white and without a cover on this sofa I would be constantly washing the cushions. I just put the 2 loveseat covers and corner sectional covers on this morning and was immediately impressed with the instructions provided to get them on correctly and the labeling on the covers to know you have them on the right way. The fabric they are made from is super soft and comfortable to sit on...much more so than the Sunbrella fabric. I will have to report back as to how the covers hold up, but I am extremely happy so far with their quality, fit and ease of use.

Nice sofa cover. Fits as measured. Only issue I see is the way the strap connects to the back part of the cover. Strap does not stay on as well as it could . Other than that a solid buy for pet owners.
