First, it is well made, looks similar to the online photos, and the sizing information is accurate. I'm glad I purchased it; however, I purchased the burgundy color and I disagree with that description. I have lots of burgundy pieces in my home and this piece has a heavy purple undertone to it. So, I feel it would be better described as a "wine" color. For my purposes it is okay, but you should be aware of this before buying one. I'd suggest looking at photos of other pieces identified as wine (which is more purple) for a more accurate idea of what you will be receiving. Also, since this is two-sided, it will be more prone to moving around a bit. If this is a concern of yours, you need to buy one that is one-sided with some sort of rubber or silicone grippers on the opposite side - this is what keeps it from moving around. Bottom line: I would recommend it, just be aware of the issues I mentioned above.

First things first: this is not a fancy sofa cover. In fact, it feels and looks somewhat cheap. Nonetheless, it is efficient -- it accomplishes its main job of protecting your couch. We have been using it for the past 2 months ever since we started boarding dogs in our home. We thought we needed some sort of protection since we would be having dogs over constantly. And for that, the cover has been excellent. It has protected our couch from multiple zoomies and claws. However, we do have 3 issues with this couch cover: 1. It has a strap so you can tie the upper part of the cover to the back of the couch. To us, this is utterly useless. The upper cover is very long and thus falls to the back of our couch quite a lot. We have no need to strap it. 2. There's a strap for the top part, but none for the lower part -- and that's the part that's rather short in our couch and constantly goes up. For us, it would be much more useful if there was a strap to tie the lower section of cover to the couch, so that it doesn't go up. Often, dogs will dig the cover, and it will slide up, because we just can't tie it down. 3. Finally, it is short for our couch. I do realise this is not necessarily the product's fault, but it is something that bothers us. Perhaps the manufacturer could offer extra wide covers, instead of this standard length. Thus, we're constantly having to adjust the cover, either pulling it more to the left or to the right. Overall, it is a functional product. Could be prettier. Could be a wee bit better. Giving it 4/5.

We have a lovely green velvet couch that is still like-new after 22 years, and we plan to keep it indefinitely. But our cat loves to scratch it even though he has his own scratching posts and furniture. For a long time I had those clear plastic sheets that stick to furniture and prevent cats from scratching. Well, they worked fine but it also meant we couldn't use the furniture either without having to remove and replace the plastic anti-scratch sheets. So when I came across this couch protector - and in so many colors - I was thrilled! The large size was the right size for the couch, the color was right, and it is even reversible if I want to use the lighter shade. It's a nice soft fabric that is easy to vacuum hair off or and easy to wash, and now all of us plus the cat can use the couch and still keep the green velvet in mint condition. I did not end up using the straps that came with it because the shape of the couch does not go up in back so there is nothing to wrap the straps around, but the protector still works perfect, tucks in well, protects the arms, and I love it! It's a great value and highly recommend getting one if you are looking for something like this.

Everyone compliments me now since I took off all the sheets I had on protecting the furniture. My only regret is I didn’t order them earlier. Will reorder again

Bought the loveseat and couch covers. They were easy to put on. The fit was a little weird, but they covered most of the area on each piece of furniture. One plop of the dog’s or my behind and the cover is hanging off in the front. I have tried to tuck it numerous different ways, but it does not stay put. The belt does stay on in the back, but the metal side clips sometimes slip out of the loops so they turn sideways. Mine end up shoved in the arm creases of the furniture. Having to fix the cover every time the dog gets down or I stand up gets quite tedious. I’m keeping them just to protect the furniture from a healthy dose of dog fur. I’ve only washed them once and they did not shrink or fall apart. The quality is not the best so I doubt they will withstand many more washings.

These look really nice on my chocolate brown loveseats. Same color as the furniture, and I can quickly take them off for company. I did not use the loops or whatever to secure them, but they stay on nicely even with cats jumping all over them. I have washed them a few times and they still fit nicely. Wanted to try them out for a few months so I would not have a premature review. Just make sure you are getting the right size for your furniture. Got 2 for the couches and one for the recliner. Definitely glad I purchased these! I gave a 4 star for water resistance and stain resistance only because nothing has been spilled on them yet!

I like it because it keeps the futon clean. It just doesn't stay in place very well. It's worth the money just know that it will occasionally need to be adjusted.
