If you have an embroidery machine, you know you can spend hundreds on standard hoops, magnetic hoops, hat hoops, etc. I wanted something simple to use when placing an embroidery design on our grandsons’ socks and I really didn't want to spend a ton of money as I didn't know if this was going to be something I / we did on the regular of if this would just be a "one off" kind of exercise. Well, for the price, it's hard to beat this little tool. While it really isn't a hoop per se, it does hold the sock securely in place while the embroidery takes place. We have an old multi-needle machine and hooping a sock with this frame set / tool is truly effortless. I will say, that we have to use a little spray adhesive to adhere the tool to the hooped backing, but it stays in place without any issues whatsoever. There are several of these style frames / tools on the market, but this one definitely works for us and it should for you as well (single or multi-needle machines alike)...so compatibility with any style or brand machine you may own shouldn't be an issue.. The frame's thickness and sturdiness seem to about what you need when placing a design on the tops of socks...not too thick or thin. We like these and think you will as well....especially if you are on a budget!

This set comes with both adult and kid sizes. The frames hold socks securely in place, which helps with accurate design placement and reduces the frustration of re-hooping. The materials feel sturdy and well-made, and the design delivers on the universal compatibility with multiple machines. It worked smoothly with my wife's Brother embroidery machine. The socks slide on smoothly and stay in place, but they arent too thick, to obstruct the machine. These are a great value for the cost.

So far I really like these. Good tension, 3 sizes including one that works for infant socks, and they feel durably made. For the price I wasn’t expecting them be as good of quality as they are! The wire also is not flimsy in the slightest and feels like it will hold up for a very long time. I know this says for embroidery machine, but you can easily also use these for hand embroidery as well.

These are an absolute game-changer for sock embroidery! If you’re on the fence, just grab them. I loved this tool so much I ordered a second set so I can always have a sock prepped and ready to stitch. No more fighting to keep fabric flat. Total lifesaver for my embroidery business.

Worth every penny! I needed to finish 40 pairs of embroidered socks, and this frame made the whole process so much smoother. It holds the sock open perfectly so you only stitch one side, no accidental stitching through both layers. I’d highly recommend this to anyone who embroiders socks regularly.

This gadget is amazing for stretching socks open during machine embroidery. I stitched a set of newborn socks on my 10-needle machine, and the final look turned out stunning. It works with nearly all embroidery machines when positioned correctly. It’s just a holder, but wow, what a difference it makes.
