What a disappointment!!! I used this faux grass cloth peel & stick wallpaper in Sky Blue over 2 years ago in my 20’ x 20’ living room. It went up easily and stayed up over the past years, and still looks great. What happened to this product??? It is literally falling down off my walls that were newly painted about 3 years ago in eggshell. None of the peel and stick products I’ve used in my home have come down off the walls due to lack of adhesive. It’s obvious Society Social is not producing the same quality wallpaper it made 2 years ago. All the time and effort it took me to hang the paper only to have it sagging off the walls. Now I have to use wallpaper paste to keep it on the walls which will be more difficult when its taken down; defeats the whole purpose of peel and stick wallpaper!!!

From someone who’s pretty experienced with wall coverings, including natural grasscloth, I’d recommend this dupe wallpaper. It’s thick, sticks very well and the color is exactly as pictured. I placed two separate orders and the color matched perfectly! But I do have some tips that made the process go smooth over walls that have lot of bums and prior terrible paint jobs that I didn’t want to bother fixing: 1. Cut the wall paper into random sized pieces and turn some upside down for more variation. Not only it will look more natural, as natural grasscloth doesn’t have patterns, but your brain will appreciate it! Any wall defects, tone differences and slight inclination will be less obvious. The line up will be easier too and there’ll be less stretching and pulling, which messes up the glue. 2. Get the rubber roller! It might seem unnecessary but, trust me, your hand doesn’t do a very good job at helping the wallpaper adhere and smoothing out the edges. It’s a huge difference! 3. For flat and chalk paint, paint prep cleaner will help with adherence. Boy’s room in progress…

I put this wallpaper on a bookcase and it looks fantastic. The color is perfect and it looks very much like real grass cloth. It was easy to put up, but I did have some problems with adhesion. The morning after installing it some very large bubbles appeared. I pulled that section up and sprayed some spray adhesive. It solved the problem.

This wallpaper was pretty easy to apply, however it is not holding up very well. I looked up against my crown molding after just two weeks and it is already peeling away from the wall. The color and design and the way it looks is so beautiful but the adhesion is bad quality. We even used a binding primer before hanging the wallpaper as we saw other reviews on the peeling. I won't use peel & stick again. It is too pricey for what it's worth.

Fantastic wallpaper! Slight texture and the look is beautiful! This is the Whisper Blue color. The only way to improve this is to have a traditional wallpaper option rather than peel and stick (definitely a learning curve with peel and stick)

This receives 2 stars because it's really beautiful and thick with a nice texture and look. I really love the color and couldn't find any other wallpaper in this color. It's not very sticky, which makes it very easy to install and even reposition if necessary. The problem with that is it literally doesn't stay up. You might as well use wallpaper glue with it from the get to, because you're gonna be going back and flying it in once it starts to peel. I used it in our camper and it was peeling off literally days after I'd installed it. I used mod lodge to get it to last the season, but after the winter I went into the camper to find all of my wallpaper falling off the walls. I tried to reorder it so I can glue it on, but it's been a month and it still hasn't even shipped yet. That's pretty terrible. I'm thinking even though I love the look of this I'm gonna have to find something else.

Regular contact paper is thin, sticky and hard to use. I bought this to line the inside of my shelves and create an accent on my laundry room doors. This product is easy to use for the O.C.D girl like me. I love this color it is very versatile. After years of purchasing contact paper this is the clear winner. Good Luck.
