I used these for snowboarding and im so glad I did. I didn't feel a thing while falling and I still don't feel a thing a couple days later. Saved my butt for sure. The fit was a little odd though. It was pretty loose around the hips, even with leggings, and the waist (its high waisted) was pretty tight and would dig in a little. I just stuck the velcro part-way and it was better, but not sure if changing the size would have helped. ... show more

Inadequate padding coverage on key areas in larger sizes that I bought this to protect. The misleading product photo image is of a smaller size on which the pads appear bigger and sewed closer together. Larger sizes are not like the product listing image in that the pads are much farther apart, and proportionately smaller, leaving important areas exposed if a moving crash happened. See my photos. Use at your own risk if ordering a large size. I'm returning this one. It was very comfortable and seemed decently breathable, however. So if you're a size small or close to that, it might be exactly what you're looking for, despite the price on Amazon being around $26 at the time this review is being written 4-23-2023. ... show more

Update: Quick customer service to resolve my issue, ended up being a technical issue with returns that is now resolved. Responsive seller, you purchase with confidence. Purchased the 11-15 for my 12-year-old. He is a bit taller and bigger than kids his age but nowhere near a 15-year-old, but black kids tend to be a bit taller I feel. So I would say may run a little small for us. The padding is thick and cushy. Can definitely hold up to a fall. Fits under snow pants, which should be bought oversize for layering anyways.
