It's not a snug fit of the inner foam filling inside the sleeves. The fabric of the sleeve is rather thin. The Velcro feels sturdy, the end glue holds it well in place, the stitches are neat and firm. I got a pair for a double office door (pictured). I've been careful to cut it snug to reduce gaps as much as possible. I measured the sound level before (45 dB) and after (41 dB) so it was helpful in reducing the noise from outside the office. I used our Roomba on the other side of the door to similar sample noise (door open - 50 dB, if you are right on the Roomba itself it 60-70 dB depending on your model). 4 dB may not sound like much, but you need to remember it's a logarithmic scale so each 3 dB is a reduction of the noise level by half (or doubling of the level if it gets louder). Thicker fabric and a snug fit of the sleeves to the inner foam filling would have gotten it a 5 stars rating. ... show more

What a disaster. I ended up taking the foam out on the portion that goes outside and taping the other side up so the door could close. Not worth $14 but I’ll use it for this season. Won’t fit on any of my other doors. Not the full length of the door. Not even slightly functional. Take my idea and come up with a new design. **UPDATE** Stopped working all together after 2 months. Company asked me to take down my post for $20. I told them that was dishonest and they stopped responding. VERY BAD COMPANY ... show more

This doesn't fit the gap under my door; the product description very stupidly says "Suitable Gap: 0 to 1.5""... If this thing were magical enough to fit under a 0-inch gap, you could probably sell it for way more than 20 bucks. The gap under my door is about half an inch, I tried to just force it through but I can see the fabric tearing already, I shouldn't have to cram it through so hard. Hire someone that knows how to read numbers and use feeler gauges. EDIT: Also, apparently if you leave a bad review these people spam the hell out of you until you reply. ... show more

This thing is great and is easy to adjust to your door size and assemble in minutes. The best thing is it really works to cut down on noise. I live in a condo and my son recently came to live with us for a few months. Every morning we woke him up by just opening doors and getting around. Came back to edit! -I had to get another one for my front door I love it so much! This thing is amazing.- I have a spare room to the side of my basement apartment. It is the only room that has not been renovated. It’s basically just a utility room with a heavy, sliding, glass door to the outside. Creep crawlies would get in that room from the outside & then the door separating my apartment from this utility room has a gap that’s the height of a quarter. I got this. It works perfectly. Usually I can stand there & actually see the ants come in. One after the other. Since installing this... They’re not getting in! I’m surprised it sealed it off so well!     • Great for minimizing noise on tile floors

We recently moved into a new house with tile floors throughout. The gap between the tile floors and interior doors is roughly 1.5” when the doors are closed. Pretty much all sounds bounce off of the floors and can be heard throughout the house. I found these twin draft/noise stoppers and thought I’d give them a try on my son’s bedroom because he plays the drums and the sound was extra loud on the tile floors. They cut to length, install easily and do a good job of significantly cutting down on noise. Most bedroom doors aren’t real thick or dense so don’t expect these to suddenly make your rooms soundproof. I definitely feel the before & after noise escaping from underneath the doors is significantly less. After having the initial purchase installed for 2 days, I purchased 3 more of them to put on all the bedroom doors in the house. They aren’t the most appealing things to look at, but we have gray tile floors so they don’t stand out as much as they might with other color options. After having them for a few days, you really won’t even notice them anymore. It’s also worth noting that the foam inserts are 2.5” thick each. I haven’t measured the cloth between the inserts but they make them to fit multiple door thicknesses. Since our doors are 1.25” thick, there’s extra space and cloth on one side of your door or the other depending upon if the door is open or closed. When the bedroom doors are closed, it appears that they aren’t sealing well at all from INSIDE the bedroom. But, if you look at them from OUTSIDE the bedroom, they are tightly sealed and flush to the door. You will always have 1 side or the other appear too loose unless your door thickness happens to be whatever the max door thickness is for these to work correctly. There is no adjustment to the thickness of the cloth, only to adjust length of the door by trimming the foam inserts and folding the cloth onto itself. All in all, these do exactly what I needed them to do and get my 5 star review for price, ease of use & functionality. ... show more

Since your asking I'm giving you my honest feedback. I was expecting something more durable and authentic. The materials used are very cheap. The cloth is very rough and the material that's used to block the noise and keep the cold out.... Its Styrofoam..... Come on.. Styrofoam. I didnt even bother installing it. Its been sitting in the box since I opened it. I'm only giving my feedback now because I was asked to through an email today. Thank you ... show more
