I read the low ratings and was honestly a little sceptic. But for the price, the next one Bushnell up was over $200 more. Considering my other scope was $1800 a Nightforce, yes there are differences but also in the application. This one went on a 22 Browning Buck Mark rifle, 16" bull barrel, had it for 25 years, very accurate with the right scope. Look at the groupings at 50 yards, I repeated that 4 times, left large one the below the bullseye was before I made an elevation adjustment. 60 rounds only 4 missed! Got a deer with it on first try at 45 yards clean head shot! It is very accurate really like it. Issues and draw backs: The mount was way to low and needed shims in the back, cardboard piece did the trick. The illumination can not be dialed low enough in fading light, can create blur in the lens, red works best. The distance adjustment needs to be really on, or it is blurry, same with the magnification. So if you try to follow a deer and it changes distance the lens can be out of focus and will need to be readjusted constantly. Best to turn off the illumination and when clear again and ready to shoot bring it back. For a small game rifle or normal deer, really a good choice for the money. Would not go past 100 years though, hence my Tika A3T has the fancy scope, dose help when you like to go 100-1000 yards. ... show more

I always like glass etched reticles. Clear and sharp. I also like the aggressive grips provided on all adjustable dials. I would give 5 stars but I haven't mounted it and tested it yet.

This scope was in my personal opinion an overall great optic. The fine details that surround this scope just made it that much better. This was actually my first scope with parallax adjustment and it really came in handy when it came to sighting in the scope. What I absolutely like most about this scope is that despite its large magnification, it didn't get fuzzy or blurry when moving up to the higher powers. I would definitely recommend this scope to anyone who is looking to make precise shots at medium to long distances (or further, I think that it would do just fine). I'm not sure what all calibers most people would be looking to use it for but, it did just fine on my Mossberg 4x4 270. If it can handle the recoil of that cartridge, I'm sure it can handle pretty much every other deer caliber (likely even the ones above them). This scope shipped fast and I was able to install it easy. I must have overlooked that it comes with the rail mounts already attached to the unit as I purchased a separate scope mount which I can now return. This scope is super clear and allows me to dial-in my target quickly downrange. After my initial bore-sight-in, I was only 1/4" off on the first shot at 100 yards. Easy click-fix. I use this scope for longer range target shooting at the range only. The scope itself adds enough weight to my rifle, with a 16" barrel, where my arm may get a bit fatigued if I were to use this setup in lengthy motion-based tactical exercises though. But, I did not purchase this scope for that and it is working out "Awesome" for my laid back longer range target shooting at outdoor ranges. I recommend this scope, bottom line, and.... for the price... I feel I definitely received more than my money's worth. ... show more

Let me preface by saying I’m not a competition shooter or scope fanatic, but I hunt quite a bit and have had/used several different low end and high end scopes. This one is almost as clear as the last Zeiss I used. It’s easily adjustable and seems of good build quality. I really liked this scope. The laser seems a little weak as far as holding zero. I had it for about a week before the zoom ring slipped making it unusable. The reticle is nice and the eye relief was comfortable. Glass was cleaner than I expected. The red dot was adequate. If the zoom would not have failed I probably would have been very satisfied. I feel I probably just got a lemon as it seemed hardy and reliable. Too bad cause it’s a nice optic for the money. Amazon was great about the return and the seller was prompt in helping me out.
