150 bucks is a lot of money for me and to get an item that’s already opened. I didn’t think nothing of it at first but than tried the lights got scope and they didn’t work. So instead of returning cus it’s a hassle for me. I went out and bought new batteries and it worked. Super dissatisfied that I got a used scope instead of new like listed. I just don’t have the time to return it. Very disappointing and poor business. Been buying off Amazon for a long time and never had something like this happen. Seller should be accountable

This is a nice scope overall. It is 5x fixed magnification. Focus is the eyepiece in the back, and it is very easy to focus. The windage and yardage adjustments have a little cable off of each cap to keep them from falling completely off and potentially getting lost. On the side one, it seems a bit tight and slightly binds but not a huge deal. The scope features an etched illuminated reticle. You can choose from red, blue, and green with three brightness settings for each color. The fixed sights on top I could have done without. They are so high up that they are a little awkward to shoot with. The scope mounts via picatinny rail. The scope as a whole is not too bad heavy for being a fixed mag scope but if you're trying to do lightweight build this would not be ideal. One thing I really liked was that the scope comes with a shade for the lens and a honeycomb screen to help with glare. It also has a 3-3.5-inch eye relief which I found to be accurate. Overall, I found this to be a quality scope that is well made with a couple nice features.

A decent prism scope is not cheap. It is also heavy. And because it’s already gonna be heavy I don’t see any use to include things like a top rail and iron sights that nobody ever is going to use. That makes this look like mold ninja equipment and I think the quality of the actual scope is decent enough that they could present this as a serious optic. But not when it’s wearing the uniform of a mall ninja . Now the scope itself has excellent build quality and a premium fit and finish. And from what I can tell the light gathering power is very good with a crisp and clear image and a scope reticle that is extremely visible under all conditions. This really does seem like a decent optic. Now if it will hold up under recoil, this is a solid contender. It is heavy but most prism scopes are going to be heavy. Whatever shortcomings this might have are made more easy by the fact that it is significantly cheaper than namebrand prism scopes. I will come back and let you know after I really put this thing through its paces how well the mounting stays put and if it holds zero after significant recoil. And used to be the benefit of buying a namebrand optic was that you didn’t have to worry about whether it worked or not. But so many of these companies are outsourcing their manufacturing and presenting some pretty poor quality stuff at premium prices, I no longer feel that you can just depend on something being good because of its name. This opens up the possibility of getting a really good item of lesser known name for a really good price. But you have to test it and put it through its paces. I will use these on my recreational firearms but never on the ones that I deem critical such as home defense. So far this has held up well.

Prism Scope LS5X50CH with Illuminated Red/Green/Blue Chevron Reticle. REVIEW UPDATE: While mounting this scope, and attempting to boresight it, with rifle clamped in a rest, it is apparent and obvious that the etched reticle is approx. 2° off from vertical. WHY!? What poor quality control! there is no way to fix this, the mount is machined into the body of the scope. The reticle or scope cannot be rotated to adjust. I am so unimpressed with this item. Original Review: I will first say, this prism scope is nice and big and clear and bright. The reticle is precisely etched and clear. The diopter adjustment to focus the reticle to your eye works. I am likely going to mount this on a new rifle build I am working on. Considering it. It has some (for me) kind of cringe-y "features" I am trying to wrap my head around. I have a few other Sniper brand optics. I find they do seem to go for over-the-top flashy features, and sort of "thrown-together" assemblies of parts. I guess there is a market demographic for that. One very noticeable part of this scope are the giant extended open sights ungracefully stuck on top of it. They do work, with about a 5" sight radius, and the front post does have a "fiber-optic" insert in it. The rear sight is adjustable for windage and elevation, using the supplied hex wrench. But the rear sight is slapped on to the rear section of a top mounted picatinny rail, and hangs over the dial for illumination setting. And just looks snaggy and catchy and bump-able. Wait, there's more.. The front sight post can be rotated sideways. Wait- what? Yes, the front sight post is mounted on the top of a ridged ring that can be rotated left or right. It has an index mark to show when the center point of the sight post is lined up. There are tactile clicky detents clicking as you turn. I do not know any reason you would want to rotate a front sight post to the side. The manual does not address this "feature" at all. And, the detents do not line up straight to position the sight post on center. It has to put in a halfway-between-clicks spot for the index marks to line up. The front end of the scope extends out about an inch from the objective lens. So, a built-in sunshade I guess, but it lengthens unnecessarily what could be a more compact length scope, which is generally considered a desirable benefit of prism scopes. The box also includes a screw in sunshade, and a screw in kill flash filter. Otherwise, I like the scope. I am a fan of fixed power prism scopes. Most ACOG scopes used by the military are fixed power prism scopes. So, they do have a proven track record. This 50 mm scope has big clear glass, and a nice crisp reticle. Although, the instruction/user manual says this model should have the "horseshoe" type reticle, not the "chevron" reticle it arrived with. It mounts to a standard picatinny rail. It has two round recoil lugs. The manufacturer could have easily used a full length clamping rail, but instead chose to use two small short rails. They are tightened with two bolts. I would rate this scope five stars, based on the functional scope part. I would detract two stars for the badly executed, cheesy, tacti-cool ridiculous parts. Rounding up to four-ish stars. This scope may be the most beautiful thing evar to someone else.

Style: Chevron Reticle
I really like this sight. This is my second SNIPER Brand sight. The 1st has held up great. This one should do the same. It is robust and operates on a single 2023 battery. It comes with both an extended sun shade and a sun filter. The end caps are screw on to protect and keep you optics clean. The lighted Chevron has a choice of Red, Blue and Green, all of which are very clear. It does come with a set of back up sights that are installed on top of the scope and like others, I do not understand why the front sight pivots, it serves no purpose. The sight has attached very will to my rail and has not loosened. I ran 100 556 rounds through it and sights did not need to be adjusted, so I feel it will hold up well. Overall, a sight like this could cost much more and if you have the funds, go for broke, but this sight will serve its purpose without breaking the bank. I like it!

This scope is impressive. The 5x magnification is a good distance for my 5.56. The scope is on the heavier side but it doesn't bother me. It was easy to sight in and the different colored reticles are a nice touch. I do wish it had a quick on and off button or switch because the dial can be cumbersome. It also states in the user guide that leaving the battery stored in it will drain it, which seems like an issue that needs fixed. There is an iron sight on top of it that looks a little silly. It is also impossible to use due to the height at which it’s mounted. I’ll be removing this and adding a set of iron sites with an offset mount just beside the scope. Overall, it functions well and seems very durable.

This is definitely a quality scope - the machining is top-notch and every feature works well without any give. Not quite understanding the ability to rotate the front sight, and there's not a whole lot of explanation in the manual. Easy to pull up and sight quickly, and it has a crisp and sharp view. This attaches to a Picatinny rail and the lens covers screw on/off instead of flip ups, which I really like.
