I bought this to test out a new AR-10 build. After spending the money on the initial build I just needed some kind of scope to test the action without spending an arm and a leg. I found this and decided to give it a try, not really expecting much. I did get quite a surprise once out on the range. First couple shots to get sighted in and then started stretching out. After 30 rounds this scope still holding zero with full load 308 recoil. My best group was 3 rounds at 500 yards coming out at .756 inch. I think this grouping would hold well past 500, but my shoulder was starting to give out so I stopped there. For a budget scope this surpasses what I expected. I have scopes that are a bit more clear at distance or the cross hairs are better for extra long range but they cost much more. The saying you get what you pay for is so right many times but this scope, so far shows some times you get a little extra. ... show more

LET ME START BY SAYING I LIVE IN VIRGINIA AND SHOOT ON MY 50 ACRES ALMOST EVERY DAY 243 AND 6.5 CREEDMOOR. MY SCOPES GET A REAL QUALITY CONTROL UNLIKE AN OCCASIONAL SHOOTER AT A RANGE FOR AN HOUR IN A BOOTH. I HAVE READ SOME OF THE LESS THAN GOOD REVIEWS AND HAVE TO SAY THAT PART OF THE ISSUES ARE SHOOTER ERROR. FOR SOME PEOPLE WITH MARGINAL EYE SIGHT YOU HAVE TO BALANCE THE FRONT ADJUST AS WELL AS THE REAR FOCUS. YOU CAN FIND A POINT THAT WORKS. I AM "NOT" USING AR MOUNTS ON ANY OF MY RIFLES. IM USING VORTEX HIGH RIFLE MOUNTS AND THIS SCOPE JUST CLEARS THE UPPER RAIL. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PUT SCOPE CAPS ON BECAUSE THERE IS NO LONGER ROOM FOR THE CAP TO CLEAR THE RAIL. I PREFER THIS ON ALL MY TOYS BECAUSE THE CLOSER THE SCOPE IS THE THE FIREARM THE MORE ACCURATE THE CURVE TO THE ROUND ... show more
