This product was the cheapest caramel I could find by weight to satisfy an irrational urge for caramel that rippled through my family like a flu virus. It did the job for the less discerning of us, but fell short for me personally. The texture is extra soft and melts in your mouth rather than offering a satisfying, sticky chew, and the flavor is a bit bland and tastes more creamy than rich. I'm giving it one star, but it really doesn't deserve one star at all. These are hard as rock and they do not taste like regular normal caramel. I was very disappointed. I will not buy this again. And do not recommend it. They were not fresh and you could not chew them. I tried three different caramels, but they were all bad if I could get my money back, I would like that. ... show more

These are tasty, but getting them out of the wrapper to eat them is the chore. Originally I bought them to put in Easter Eggs for a children's hunt and thought I would taste them first. So glad I did. I could hardly unwrap them myself. I knew it was impossible for a child to do. Love the taste, but think I will try another brand and see if they are easier to unwrap. ... show more
