This is my first time jumping on board the snail secretion trend. Gosh the texture is stringing - dare I say slimy. It’s a tough jump to make when used to regular creams. I haven’t seen noticeable results. And I also haven’t had any negative reactions. I probably won’t repurchase. But it’s mostly a texture thing for me.

I'm new to adding snail mucin into my routine but haven't looked back since! This is the perfect 'starter' product to give it a try. It makes my skin so soft and smooth! It feels like putting literal silk over your face--even though it's a little goopy and sticky and different texture then your average moisturizer. That part might take a little bit to get used to but overall it's a great product! Price is fair for value and size!

This FUNNIR Snail Mucin 92% Repair Cream is absolutely fantastic! This product is labeled as a cream, but it is more of a gel consistency. Although I know what "snail mucin" is, I was not fully prepared for the gooeyness of this product. Gooeyness aside, this gel absorbs into my skin quickly and does not feel one bit sticky or tacky. I appreciate how soft and supple my skin feels. Since a tiny bit of product is needed per application, this 3.52 ounce jar should really last a long time. This is a good thing too, because I have found that this is something I don't want to be without.

I have used the snail mucin serum before and liked how it worked with my skin. So I thought I'd give this product a try as well. But it was not as nice to use as the serum. The texture of this "cream" is very different, reminds me of marshmallow fluff, as it's very sticky and stringy. It's hard to get out of the container without long strings sticking to everything. Then you apply to your face and are trying to spread it evenly around the skin, which isn't easy with the all the strings. One's natural body heat does seem to help some with getting the "cream" to spread, but it does take some time. It does seem to leave my skin somewhat moisturized, but overall, I was not impressed. After a month, I tossed the remaining cream as I was not enjoying the experience and was not seeing any benefit to my skin. I would not recommend the product nor would I buy it again.

In my opinion, this should not be called a cream. While it comes in a jar and is white, that's about where the definition of a cream would end. This is more of a gel. It's extremely gooey and stringy and will leave a long trail from your finger to the jar each time you take some. It's a but messy as it will leave strands on your counter as you pull your hand away, even if you try to use the edge of the jar to cut them off. You'll still have a trail. This is obviously because it's from snails but I was still surprised at this because I have another Snail Mucin serum with a higher percentage and that's not even like this but I think that's because that one distributes through a pump. As for the product itself, you don't need much to put on (even though you'll probably get more than you need because of the trailing). It goes on easily and feels hydrating. I don't feel like this alone is a moisturizer so I put my regular moisturizer on top. I haven't noticed any difference in my skin but I really wouldn't expect to in a short amount of time. Like any skin product, you're in it for long term benefits and overall moisturization.

If someone would have told me years ago that I would be putting snail secretions on my face, I probably would have looked at them like they were crazy, but honestly this is an amazing product. If you're accustomed to the typical consistency of regular face creams, this may take a little getting used to. This has a very elastic and stringy property that makes it interesting to apply, but I think it's worth it. Once it's on your face, it smooths out like silk and absorbs very quickly. It's not sticky or greasy at all, and it leaves your skin feeling so soft, smooth, and youthful. A little goes a long way. You don't need to gloop this on heavily for it to work. It's also very important and comforting to me that they don't hurt the cute little snails and also that there's no animal testing. Truly a top tier company and product here.

I've heard good things about snail creams though this has more of a gel consistency. However, it does not leave a sticky feel behind, it's more of a refreshing, moisturized glow. Absorbs well and leaves a smooth finish.
