Description

Ecoflex 00-35 FAST is a soft, fast cure platinum-catalyzed silicone that is versatile and easy to use. Parts A and B are mixed 1:1 by weight or volume, pot life is about 2.5 minutes and rubber cures in about 5 minutes at room temperature with negligible shrinkage. Low viscosity ensures easy mixing and pouring. Rubber cures without "tacky" surface, is very soft, very strong and very "stretchy, stretching many times its original size. EcoFlex 00-35 is off- white translucent and can be color pigmented using Silc Pig silicone color pigments. Features Certified Skin Safe - Material is skin safe and certified by an independent laboratory to OECD TG 439. Liquid Ecoflex 00-35 FAST will cure against the skin and can be used for life casting applications to make rubber molds that cure quickly and are good for casting wax, resins, etc. Ecoflex 00-35 FAST can also be used for a variety of skin safe applications including making fast skin safe appliances for special effects and cosplay, cushioning for orthopedic and orthotic devices worn on the body and much more.Ecoflex 00-35 FAST can also be used to make fast cure rubber molds with high elongation for casting a variety of materials.

My first mold. Top section of a tortoise shell, day after my pet died. I used a very fine brushing of mineral oil to seal the shell. Easy on and easy off, I was relieved. What really impressed me was that even with all the "grand canyon" relief detail in the shell, I did not encounter any surface air bubbles. The casting came out PERFECT, and the detail was ASTOUNDING. Every scratch and abrasion of his ~50 year life was preserved. And, the mold is perfectly re-usable. Awesome product! ... show more

    • Set too fast!
Followed the instructions, even used a timer on my phone: the product started setting while I was pouring it into my mold. Item ruined, money thrown out the window. I can say this could be a very awesome, soft yet durable product if you can manage a successful pour. I can see the potential, but this was a fairly expensive "trial run" since it set too fast. Ambient temperature was 72 degrees. I will be delving into slower setting products with a vacuum chamber (already purchased) in the near future. Even though this failed...I'm excited about what my next attempt will bring. ... show more

I love the other products from smooth-on but this one greatly reduced my production time. This silicone sets quickly which may limit your ability to use it but if you have a fast pour application ECO-FLEX 00-35 is worth a look at because it sets so quickly. Another excellent product.

i bought the ecoflex 35 and i started mixing the two parts A and B and within 10 seconds it became hard and wouldn't come out of the mixing bowl and its not stretchy at all, and its harder than the ecoflex 20 after they said its softer than the ecoflex 20, the problem is i bought 4 cases

I just getting into Silicone, after having done latex for many, many years. I wanted something I could start small on, and not have to create large expensive molds for. This stuff is perfect, and has worked out great! Was able to cast several small projects with rubber molds, and the finished silicone prosthetic is awesome. Used the Smooth-on colors, and some flocking powders, and the end result is everything I had hoped for. I only wish this trial kit was larger... will have to buy more. ... show more

The directions say mix part a and part B for 90 seconds. With less than a minute it was getting hard and add a mediately ported after the 90 seconds and it cured before it was all on. Don’t waster your money on this. And it has a yellowish tint to it. It’s not completely clear.

Directions said mix for 1 minute. I barely started stirring it and it instantly became solid, no more than 15 seconds and it became useless. I recommend Oomoo 30. Takes less than 6 hours to cure and the quality is impeccable.
