When buying something you hope never to use for its intended purpose, you have certain hopes and expectations. Comfort, price, and aesthetic style among the top of those. This helmet helmet hits all those expectations easily. Very comfortable and fits perfectly (I have a large melon). It also has a dial type ratchet in the back to fine tune your fit. All the parts inside have just the right kind of padding and material to make it feel good while wearing. It feels incredibly well made. Plus, I like the look. No fake racer look, just a handsome roadie and seemingly streamlined look. It breathes very well and the white color is perfect for what I was wanting. It also didn’t break the bank. Other attractive helmets like POC and Oakley would likely look and feel similar, but cost more than twice as much. I will be sticking to Smith helmets from now on due to the perfect fit, comfort, style and price. You won’t regret this purchase ... show more

Smith is my go-to helmet. I have purchased several Smith helmets over the years, and have always appreciated their fit, features and comfort. I have three currently and use one each for the road, gravel and mountain biking. When it came time to buy another helmet for my daughters, it was easy to reach for Smith again. This helmet has all of the features such as the MIPS liner as my higher end Trace model has and fits her head well. The key difference between this and the Persist model is the Koroyd system, but I don't think that was necessary for paved bike trail riding. We went with this model due to her color desires, and she couldn't be happier. I am happy knowing that she has a quality helmet that will protect her head if she crashes while on her gravel bike. Very happy with this and looking forward to several years of performance from it. ... show more

This helmet saved my head when I got hit by a car and fell on the ground with my face and head. I didn’t even realize my head touched the ground until the paramedics pointed it out to me, showing me the scratches on the helmet. I recommend it to everyone.
