While it does absorb pet odors it does not make your space smell any better like an air freshener. It would be nice if it could do both in one, but taking the pet odor away is what I am looking for. The only scent you will smell is when you get really close to it.

Painted my son's nursery and swear I had everything open long enough to air out that paint smell. Found out I was wrong when I'd have him in there and shut the door for the night. It's winter, so I cannot leave the windows open and needed something to take away the paint smell. This has worked wonderfully and is not overwhelming.
