  • Good entry level smart watch for the price.
Color: Gray Black Size: 1.69 Inches
For the price, I think the watch is pretty good. It would be nice if I could get notifications from Messenger, and the instructions went into more detail about the settings on the App. I don’t think the sleep measurement, steps, etc. are that accurate, but that’s not why I bought the watch. I can get a silent notification when I get a call, and it tells time, which is what I wanted it for. Also, the Amazon page was confusing as to if you could wear it swimming. “you can wear it even in swimming or running (Note: Not suitable for diving, swimming or sauna).” I decided not to try. Battery life is pretty good now that I set it up to where it’s not checking my heart beat periodically and I also set it to where the face doesn’t come on unless I push the button. That was also annoying while I tried to sleep, but found out it can be adjusted to not come on during times you specify. I was curious about my sleep and how well that functions, but now I don’t wear it to bed. I really like that I can add a personal picture to the face, although I ended up not using one. Found a face that is good enough basically, but there is lots to choose from. I would still recommend this watch for someone who is looking for an entry level smart watch, but not for kids, or those serious about monitoring sleep, steps, heartbeat, etc. ... show more

  • Nice budget fitness watch, but the smartphone app is mandatory.
For the past two years, I have worn a Fitbit, but its battery recently failed. I got this watch a few days ago. Though it didn't have many reviews, the cost was low enough that I decided to take a gamble. Charged it per the instruction pamphlet, then turned it on. My first, and only, complaint at this point is that the Glory Fit app is MANDATORY to use this watch. Without it, you can't even set the date and time. The watch has a Settings section, but the only options are brightness, power off, factory reset, and an info screen. No option to set the date or time. I tried holding my finger on the home screen, but that only lets me change the display layout. Holding the single button while on the home screen brings up the power off function. Since I don't know much about this brand, and the Glory Fit app had mixed reviews, I installed it on a backup phone. Connecting the phone to the watch via Bluetooth was seamless, and the instant I did, the date and time on the watch self-corrected. I then turned off the phone. Two days later, I had to turn the phone on again for 30 seconds, because the watch time did not correct for Daylight Saving Time. Aside from that, it seems like a nice fitness watch. Heart rate, blood pressure, and blood oxygen readings are all consistent with other specialized devices. (Note that BP and O2 readings take a minute to load, and only measure while they're active on the screen.) After several days of use, the battery is still at full bars (a big improvement over my old Fitbit, which would fully discharge every 4-5 days, even when it was new). Step counter seems accurate too, although I have nothing to gauge against. I don't use the features that tie into the app, so no comments on those, and I'm not including them in my rating. For those who care, the time shows in military time (24 hours, no AM/PM). Maybe this can be changed in the app, but I didn't check. ... show more

  • Not for continous heart-rate information during exercise
Color: Black Size: 1.69 inches
It's hard to know how to evaluate this watch. On the one hand, for the price, you can hardly complain about the battery life, quality display, and overall number of features. Set-up and connection to my Galaxy S21 were easy. Numerous free watch faces are a nice touch. On the other hand, the "cons" are something to consider, depending on what you are looking for in a fitness tracker. * The protrusion on the rear of the watch eventually gave me a bruised/sore feeling. * Overall feel is on the heavy/bulky side. * Tracking heart-rate during workouts leaves a lot to be desired. If you need a continuous read-out of your current heart-rate, you are going to be disappointed. First, you can't use the HR reading on the main watch face (I don't think) because that is updated only sporadically (I think). In the "workout" view, the heart rate takes some time to show up (10 seconds? more?) and then it stays on the screen for a limited time before the screen turns off and you have to start the process again. * Watch face turning on at turn of the wrist can be finicky. I actually gave myself a sore shoulder from trying so many times to get it to work. My teen had the same problem. I do not have this issue with Amazfit or Fitbit models that I have tried. * Doing basic set-up might be difficult or impossible without having use of the accompanying app. * No support for Google Hangouts/Messaging notifications. Bottom line: Very inexpensive smartwatch with nice display and great battery life, basic heart rate tracking and basic sleep tracking. Could be a fun gift for a kid or teen. If you need a heart-rate monitor with convenient, continuous read-out during your workouts, look elsewhere. If you are small-framed and want a watch to wear all the time, this might not be the watch for you. If you want in-depth data reporting, the app (KeepHealth) may not be enough. For me: FitBit Versa 2 (note that Versa 2 is more accurate at heart-rate monitoring than Versa 3 or 4) is much more comfortable, has great heart-rate monitoring features, very thorough app. Costs just over $100 at the time of writing this review. It's 2-3x more than the Jedeman smartwatch, but very affordable in relation to features and quality. ... show more

  • Love this watch!
Color: Black Size: 1.69 inches
I love this watch! It's sturdy and has a great battery life. I love the features, especially the timers, which are handy when cooking. The only things I dislike are that the screen scratches pretty easily (though I'm admittedly hard on watches, especially the screens, due to wearing on the job), and the calculator is pretty useless because I can never type in the right number, even while using a stylus (the number inputs are very small). But it doesn't change how much I adore this watch. It's one of the best watches I've bought, especially for the price. ... show more
