He's 67, retired, walks every morning at the park. Asked me for something that tells time, counts steps, and lets him answer calls when his hands are full with the dog leash. Got him this one last month. Paired with his Android in like 2 minutes. He wore it on his walk Tuesday, heart rate monitor showed him he wasn't dying when he went up the big hill. Waterproof enough for when he forgets to take it off washing the car. Answers calls with a button, no fumbling for his phone. Water runs across the glass during a rinse, droplets sliding away while the brightness remains visible and the touch response stays consistent through the motion. Swipe toward sport mode took one extra try. Step counter keeps advancing and the circular activity ring fills gradually while the watch face stays aligned on the same notch, screen lit and holding that state as the hand moves away.

This morning I went for a run in the park wearing this watch. The strap is breathable and very comfortable to wear; my wrist didn't feel stuffy at all. The Bluetooth connection was very stable while running, and the exercise data synced quickly, so I could immediately see my steps and heart rate changes. The watch is quite waterproof, so I didn't need to take it off even if my hands were sweaty or if it rained lightly during my morning run.
