    • Fair Replacement for my Fitbit Zip
The battery compartment for my Fitbit Zip broke. I used my Zip to keep track of my steps throughout the day as well as during exercise walks. But... they don't make them anymore so I needed a replacement. What I liked most about the Zip was it clipped on and I didn't have to wear it all day on my wrist. I figured I would give this a try and wear it in a pocket or around my ankle. It does seem to keep track of my steps but seems to be off a bit compared to the app on my cell phone when I go on my exercise walks. I wear it on my wrist for exercise walks but take the band off and put it in my pocket or keep the band on and wear it around my ankle for most of the day. It is nice that I can easily see my heart rate during my exercise walks. For the price, it gives me an idea of my steps for the day. I am not interested in tracking my progress over time or being congratulated for going further or faster so I don't use the app. ... show more

mostly i use it for sleep tracking. In the past two weeks, it did a good job to show my sleep model and duration. easy to change style of time display (additional download faces). That raising hand shows time is a cool feature. The assocaited app got more info and features that the watch can' show and set (such as set alarm and push text message notification etc). One nuisance is the step count which seems to give way higher number than actual. One thing to point out, it is afraid of water because of the sensors touching the skin i assume. So when you sweat a lot doing a sport and try to use it to measure, there may be problem. so far I took it off doing sports. ... show more

I love the features and what I can do with it. The battery life is great and it tracks my steps like I wanted. The issues are the app. And the incoming phone calls, the app slows down my phone a lot and I can't answer calls from the watch. I can only see who is calling and decline.

The charger wire hooks up magnetically. It's easy to use. About once a day, you need to synchronize it with your cell phone (where the app is located) or your watch is going to be a minute or two off. In other words, it won't show the correct time.
