I purchased these carpet tiles for an upstairs hallway. Besides going around the stairwell, I had 4 doorways to deal with, but these were so easy to put down! I found the best way to cut them was to mark the bottom and use a metal straight edge and sharp box cutter. It made a nice, clean cut. They adhere very well. When laying the tiles next to each other, I found it worked best to slightly pull up the edge of the one that was already installed and then press the two down together. This kept the carpet fibers from getting caught in between or underneath the two tiles, and therefore I cannot see any lines. The only thing I might recommend is to order one or two boxes more than you think you will need. When I measured, I measured the whole room and ordered the amount I should have needed for that area. I did not deduct anything for the stairwell, which is about a 35" x 80" area. With that large of an area where no carpet was needed, I figured I would have enough carpet left over to put in the small 24" x 40" closet, but I used every last square for the hallway floor and all I have left are a bunch of narrow strips from around the edges. Nothing I can use in the closet. I have put down carpet in rooms before. I would say it is more time consuming to put down the tiles than a full carpet, but it was a lot easier than wrestling with a large piece of carpet when I'm all by myself. And much easier dealing with 18 inches than with 8 feet (or 18) feet when the walls are not square! Overall, I am very happy with these tiles and would definitely order them again if I had any more carpeting to do. ... show more

I’ve had this carpet installed for about 2 months now. It’s still very put together and nothing has come undone or lost its adhesion. The adhesion was very sticky and once I laid it down it was not easy to pull it back off. My first section was trial and error so there were some gaps but the second section I learned to really keep them flush to each other to make it look clean and look like they weren’t square tiles. The down side of this product is it was very hard to cut. I tried both razor/box cutter, and scissors and it was just very sticky and the foam underside would come apart easily as shown in the picture. I learned to keep the razor clean from any adhesion for it to cut more smoothly but still was difficult. It was a very messy project in a whole but I would recommend this product and buy again. ... show more

So myself and my husband had to rip up carpet in our master bedroom from the previous owners lack of care. I felt it was more appropriate and less costly to go this route than traditional carpet. If there's an accident I can just replace the one or two tiles rather than a whole room. It's holding up great beneath all of our pets paws and it hasn't lost its fluff with my husband's chronic pacing. It is still super soft and the seams that seem to show up if I don't vacuum daily disappear again when I do. We can live with that. For the most part it's only a small section that separates anyway. We were mind blown when we installed it at the lack of visible seams that it was hard to tell how big each piece was when showing it off. I wish there was thicker padding but that's because I'm a creature of comfort. We definitely recommend and we will absolutely be making further purchases. ... show more

Love this product, love it. I've purchased many of these and they are amazing. I've done two rooms with this carpeting and will be doing another two rooms with this. I don't do reviews but with this I will do my first review to help others out that don't know if they should purchase this product. I've purchased I think it was 12 boxes and I'm going to order another 6 and more in the future. I have kids and they love the brand-new look to the two prior rooms, and my new project with the next two rooms will have them happy. I have to say the product itself is great. We installed it over concrete in our basement and the cushioning is really nice and while you can definitely see the seams if you’re looking. It still look nice. My gripe however is with the seller, Genan Markets, and Amazon themselves. I had a large order of these. 27 boxes. And 10 of those were the wrong product their “walk in the park” instead of “in a snap” and it was in a totally different color. We’ve now been trying to figure out our refund for a little over a week and the seller wanted us to return at our cost with an unpaid postage USPS label. I have now had to contact Amazon customer service three times and they keep telling me to just return it when it’s a massive package. And “please be rest assured it’s a top priority” and the seller will contact me. Very upset with the service as this shouldn’t be on me to figure out their mistake. The big takeaway is I’d be careful ordering large quantities from this seller cause if they mess it up again you’re going to be in for a long headache. I hope it’s resolved soon but I’m not optimistic. ... show more

The adhesive is weak. It stuck to our RV floor OK (OSB) but we needed it to go up side walls as well about 6 inches. We needed to purchase stronger tape at Home Depot for that purpose. That worked well. Be careful cutting the squares. Cut though from the back gradually to avoid cutting any carpet fibers or you WILL see lines. There is a soft foam layer, them thin fiber layer holding squares together, then the carpet fiber layer (do not cut those). Overall happy, but the carpet fiber is a little sparce. ... show more

    • Great replacement carpet in the closet

These were super easy to put down and match up. You can’t tell where the same start and seems end. Definitely recommend for closet area has a small little pad on the bottom definitely not cushion but it’s beats being on the floor.
