  • For the price it it definitely does quite a bit
Color: Silver Size: 10
I've tried other smart wearables before and I've been wanting to try one of these smart rings but haven't quite been able to justify the price. This comes in at a lower price and is good value so I'd say it's definitely a good option to try. It looks just like a normal ring. The fit is fine as long as you get the right size. I definitely got a little bit too big of a size but that's on me. The sizing is accurate. The battery life is very good. I have no problem with this lasting several days in between charges. The fitness tracking does appear to work but I'll be honest I've used it that much. I'm more interested in the heart rate and sleep tracking which is very good and very interesting. Have access to. The app does a good job at at charging this out and giving you information that is helpful with it. ... show more

  • Not bad, but some sleep functions were off
Color: Silver Size: 10
A good basic smart ring on a budget. The ring is a simplistic design. If you'd like to dress it up a bit, I have noticed that they are coming out with more and more band covers for these smart rings to change their look etc. The ring comes boxed with two separate chargers, [no wall cube included] as well, you can also charge it on the stand. It's lightweight and does not feel bulky when wearing it. I was not able to get the QR code to work correctly; however, I suggest just downloading the app from the app store. It's nice that this smart ring requires no subscription, and the app is free and fully functional with no extra in-app purchases required. The initial charge of the ring took about 4-5 hours. I have gotten about 3 1/2 days, sometimes 4 days of wear without needing a charge, so it does fall short of the stated 5-7 days of wear time before a charge is needed. It does your basic monitoring of temperature, heart rate, steps, sleep patterns, etc. Most of these were close and comparable to my other fitness trackers I have, so I didn't see a lot of deviation in the figures. The sleep function was off, in that if I was lying still in bed while reading, it calculated that as hours of sleep. Thus, those figures looked great on my profile, yet were not true. A little disappointment there. Overall, for a smart ring on a budget, it looks nice, fits well, and monitors your basic fitness functions. ... show more

  • Aizo Smart Ring Review: Much More Than a Dr. Evil Pinky Accessory!
Color: Silver Size: 10
This Aizo smart ring came in a nice cardboard box with 2 USB charging cables, a charging base, and a brochure of instructions. 1 of the cables is a USB A-C cable used to plug into the charging base and a not included wall plug-in adapter (or possibly a charging USB port on an appropriate device---the instructions don't address this and and I have not yet tried this method) to charge the ring when magnetically mounted on a center post in the charging base. The other USB cable has a magnetic end that attaches to the charging contact on the ring and a USB A end that connects to an appropriate power source, like the other cable, but does not use the charging base. See attached pics. Apparently, the base is not a power bank and must be plugged into an for charging the ring, I used the charging base connected to a wall power plug adapter to charge the ring and it worked fine. Once plugged in and charging, the ring will emit a red light that will change to green when the ring is fully charged. See pic. Although the instructions brochure and an enclosed label provided a QR code link to download the ring's app, I downloaded it from the Google Play Store, The included instructions basically said to download the Aizo Ring app and follow the app's instructions to pair the ring to the app. I did and it worked. The process was easy. The app monitors heart rate, blood oxygen levels, body temperature readings, and also provides sleep analysis, and a limited selection of exercise recording/analysis options. Unlike the experience of 1 earlier reviewer of this ring/app, I was able to get real time measurements of heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and body temperature using the app. Maybe the app has been updated since that review. I have now worn the ring for almost 24 hours and its battery level is at 78% . Assuming a constant usage rate, that would mean the battery would need to be charged about every 4 days. I also have a couple of smart watches that measure heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep, etc, and I have gotten similar readings from them. So, either they're all right...or wrong together! I haven't fully explored the app but it seems straight-forward , has good clear graphics, an hasn't been glitchy (unlike my Fitbit app--grhhh!) so far. I need to leave other ring/app discoveries to future ring reviewers. In summary, I ordered the silver colored ring in a size 10 and luckily, it fit my ring finger perfectly. See pics. The ring seems to have a good build quality, looks very stylish (despite the pasty posing mannequin-me modeling it), and has performed flawlessly in the 24 hours I have had it. I will update this review if something changes for the worse....or leave it here, if not. A good product UPDATE: Wanted to update my use of ring since I've now had it for a few days and I can finally correct an error I made in my initial review since it has now posted. The charging base is also a power bank that can be used to charge the ring without connecting to an outside power source. When placed on the charging base the ring's sensor light will turn red, then green on a full charge per the pics I have already posted. There's a green light on the front of the charging base that blinks green when the base is connected to an outside power source that turns solid green when the base is fully charged---I think, since the written and app manuals don't clearly address this. My ring also needed to be charged after 4 days. I got an app alert on my phone to charge the ring when the battery level reached 20%. The heart rate, blood oxygen %, and body temp readings from the ring continue to be fairly consistent with the readings I get from my smart watches. However, the sleep readings (duration, light, REM, deep) have varied substantially from the readings I get from my smart watches. Not sure why. The written and app manuals state the preferred finger for wearing the ring is the index finger but the ring will not fit mine. The written manual also says to wear the ring with the sensor toward the 'abdomen' (contacting the palm side?) of the finger. I don't know whether the ring might shift during sleep and affect the sleep monitoring function. The app manual also references smart touch features but that may cover a different ring model. The Amazon product page information doesn't address smart touch capability for this ring. Still like the ring and app. ... show more

  • Mediocre. Doesn't play well with iOS Health
Color: Silver Size: 8
I have tested more than a dozen smart rings, and unfortunately this one comes out in the bottom half. Not the worst, but definitely not the best. It looks good and seems well made, but the size is slightly larger than many other rings. It's always best to get a sizing kit before buying, and for best results, you should aim for the ring fitting your index finger. My experience is that these rings will work the same on a middle or ring finger, which is how I used this one. This ring pairs with the Aizo Ring app, which only sends limited information to Apple's Health app. My iPhone is detecting steps, walking+running distance and active energy. The Aizo Ring app is measuring but not sharing sleep, heart rate, blood oxygen and temperature. If you're not wedded to the Health app, the ring measures and stores information in Aizo Ring, and that may be good enough for some people. FYI, the worst ring I ever tested was powered by Aizo Ring, which has since improved but is still mediocre. I tried to pair this ring with better apps, and sadly, that didn't work. At the end of the day, this is a very basic ring at a price point (70 bucks) that is crowded with far better competitors. ... show more
