E scooter I ordered came with two keys and one was a dud. Thought it was the master key but I simply don’t know how to access the settings to program it. Went another route to duplicate my working key.used the included key fob and bought some cards to duplicate as all. Worked well. Now I have duplicates! I was really wary when I hit the buy button on this one because there seems to be two almost identical models with very different software. One works and one doesn't. This is the one that works! This read, write and cloned most of the cards and fobs I threw at it. I was able to successfully read an HID fob that was particularly pesky, and many other fobs and cards that were off-limits when I was using one of those cheapo generic 125KHz read-write models.     • Cannot "write", and related software carries a virus.
No problem reading an NFC card, but this product is unable to write a copy of what was read. When connecting to a computer -- supposedly to install decryption software, a Trojan virus shows up as a "severe danger". Be careful, avoid this product completely! Alain
