Whyyy is it so difficult to set up a simple on/off timer. The app is ridiculous. Alexa is not helpful. I have a mini smart plug from this same company and it was so easy to set up. Don’t know why this one has to be so hard.

To my dismay when I downloaded the app, it did not even recognize the device I had purchased. I tried to pair at least a dozen times, and it would not pair, despite being connected to Wi-Fi and following all of the instructions as well as all of the troubleshooting. The product looks nice and is seated securely in the plug without having to drill into the wall (not the case with some similar products I have purchased in the past). However, I would probably not have paid $20 for it without the smart functionality and unfortunately I've spent thirty minutes trying to connect it through the app with no luck. Luckily the plugs function as normal, so not like it's useless. But I'm no stranger to these smart device apps and the setup should NOT have to be this difficult. ... show more
