This is one of my favorite items. Bought it for a Halloween party but use it year round. My curtains are sheer so having this draped over them attached to metal rings that go around my curtain rod. (Metal rings from binders sold separately) I have beautiful lighting ready for any occasion. I also really like that the lights on each clear wire string blend into my curtain, and the lights are mini like fairy lights and it goes straight down vs the Christmas light strings that are thicker or have “branches” sticking out. These ones have a more subtle and clean simple appearance, which is why I went with it. My only complaint is that some of the colors like blues or orange are repetitive and instead they could have made sure to get more variety in there. I don’t use orange not even for Halloween so it feels like a waste to have 3 orange without much of a variation of orange. But overall I really like it. ... show more

The lights were easy to put up. I simply tacked some clear thumb tacks into the wall near the ceiling and hooked the lights onto the thumb tacks. The lights are bright enough for you to function around the space if you have to, but cozy enough for you to relax and watch tv with not much of a distraction. Only issue I’m sort of having, is that sometimes my Samsung tv remote will interfere with the lights and they flicker every time I press a button. Not all the time, but I’ve noticed it a few. I love that this comes with a remote and has so many color options. The strands are very long, I would venture to say longer than a lot of celiengs. We had to loop them up again to the top so they were not bunched up on my daughter’s floor, but it is still a good look. Whenever we first turn it on the lights are a little messed up, they come in and out and there are a few lights that aren’t the right color. After about 5 minutes they stop flickering and all settle to the color they are supposed to be. ... show more

ordered this product for my room. the color is really bright and pretty. i have it on the dark purple. i wish i could change the brightness because it’s super bright. they didn’t come tanged and set up was easy (i used command strips and wrapped it around). it really helped bring my room together. the thing is, i got a small headache after first getting it because the intensity of the light. it went away soon after i go used to it. the colors have great stability, so it doesn’t flicker, i had the problem with the lights i used to have. love the vibe it set in my room, super warm and comfortable. for the remote, you need to be closer to the receiver (which is the plug). ... show more

    • Cool but comes apart

One of the light strings came off on the first day. I tried putting it back together but it didn’t work. If I don’t leave the dead string in then the whole thing won’t light up.
