I bought the SmallRig X100VI Half Leather Case Kit for my Fujifilm X100VI, and I’m thoroughly impressed by the look, feel, and functionality. There is no shortage of accessories out there for the Fuji X100 cameras and I really wanted to try a leather half case because I think it gives the camera a very classy look. There are options made by various companies out there, some that cost over $100. After having used this case for several weeks, I could never recommend those more expensive cases. This Smallrig case has an incredible fit and finish, not just for its price point, but in general. It has a very high quality look and feel on the X100VI, has very minimal branding, and fits perfectly. With it installed, there is easy access to the battery compartment without removing anything and it attaches securely. There is plenty of protection provided by fully covering the lower portion of the camera. Does it add a lot of functionality to the camera? Well no, but it provides a good looking aesthetic while providing some extra scratch protection on the lower body leaving no concerns putting it down when out and about. For its price, it provides a really great value and makes the more expensive options out there seem like a bad idea. Anyone that has asked me about leather half cases for the X100VI, this is the option I immediately direct them to. Since trying out the black version, I have already purchased another one in brown. You will not be disappointed.

Perfect fit on my Fujifilm X100VI. It gives the camera slightly better grip without adding too much bulk. I just wish the stitching is black, not grey or white, it will be hardly noticeable on my black camera version. SmallRig had a picture of one with Black Stitching, which looked amazing on the Black Camera but of course, I got the one with grey stitching, hence, the 4Stars. The other concern is how good the thin leather quality and construction will hold up overtime other than that, I cannot complain since it does provide great protection, good aesthetics, decent craftsmanship and great price point.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. 5+ STARS. 1. I love that it is minimal without the extra grip bump some leather cases have. 2. The leather on my copy is a beautiful medium tan, much lighter than the official photos, almost English tan but maybe 1-2 shades darker. My photo is a true representation of the color, it's a natural material so yours may be different. 3. The strap is NOT leather, it's vinyl. The listing does state that, but it's dark chocolate color. See my photo. But it got me out and shooting while I wait for the leather strap from Smallrig. 4. The quality is great, stitching is precise, cuts are too. 5. It has an aluminum+plastic base, which adds weight, but I suppose for durability and stability, it's the best choice. TBH I can't believe the price for this thing. BUY THIS.

I have a Fujifilm X100s, not the X100VI. Even though this is the case that comes up when you search X100S this case DOES NOT FIT that model!! The case seems very nice and I’m pretty disappointed that it doesn’t fit my camera.

Excellent half case for Fuji X100VI. Fits well and does not block the fold out screen in the back of the camera, which was noted as an issue with a more expensive brand. Easy access to battery and SD card. Looks great on the camera. Well priced in relation to alternatives. I decided to use this half-case for travel instead of the bulkier metal grips that I have, including an excellent one from Small Rig. I suspect that buyers who had issues with the fit had earlier X series cameras. The camera is slim with this half-case on and fits well in a small camera travel case. I like Small Rig Products for my camera. They are well made, and well thought out.
