I have an older DSLR camera and it is still kicking, but it is a bit cumbersome when you want to use it with all the lenses and filters etc. I figured since I have an S23 Ultra so why not try to make it into a pseudo "pro cell phone digital camera". I did some reading and found that to keep my rig after upgrading my phones it would have to be a universal phone cage. I settled on SmallRig due to its quality and adaptability. While my phone fits merfectly fine with mounted filter adapter and filter I can also add so bunch of other accessories to it. The cage uses standard photo 1/4" -20 mounting screws allowing even other manufacturers accessories to be added to the device. I personally added a power bank holder for recordings. I had several amateur photo shoots and the device is really nice. I added a Bluetooth handle so I can trigger photos or videos easly. As far as video recording goes this cage provides you with added stability to your videos making them looking more pro. I like this cage and use it often becuse of it's ease to mount my large phone and accessories. I am really glad that SmallRig makes such things.

This rig is very easy to put together, and has been pretty durable so far. I use this to record audio and video of my band using a cell-phone. The mounting options make this a very versatile tool to add to your equipment.

Great build quality, sturdy while not being too heavy. The attachment of handle to the cage is bit kludgy (and that knocks a point off) however once put together stays put.

I use a iPhone 16 Pro Max with an Pelican case on this phone cage,.. fits well with some room to spare. Have many attachments on it. From the handles to lights, mics. Great item for that that like to film videos on they phone but want more of a steady look to it. Build quality is great and the price is not to bad compared to other devices out in the market.

This thing is the bomb dot com of phone rigs. Takes me 2 seconds to slide my iphone 13 into it, twist the knob a couple times to secure it. I have a arc type quick release so I can move it on and off a tripod. If I don't need the handles, I can use my fingers to screw them off. Such a great handy rig.
