These Sony batteries work great and last about as long as expected. It is nice that the charger has multiple ports since charging one battery at a time is kind of a pain with a standard charger. These seem to charge the batteries fairly quickly and everything seems to be made from quality materials. USB-C is a plus and the LEDs seem pretty representative of how much more charging is needed for each battery. Not super cheap for an aftermarket kit, but the price is fair.

A decent deal for 3 batteries and a charger! I have a Sony FX30 and getting cheaper third-party batteries can be rather risky on this camera, unless the battery manufacturer indicates compatibility clearly upfront. This set from Smallrig works perfectly, without any trouble. The material quality and build, is top quality, just like my OEM battery. Charging was a bit slow though, and took awhile to get to 100%, but that's ok with me, as I think it's more reliable and better for the health and life of the battery in the long run. As for capacity and duration, it is decent as expected from a new battery. I also use an older A7R3, and that too, works flawlessly. No issues on either cameras. One thing to note, is the capacity of the battery, is lower than my original OEM one. Each battery is only rated at 1940mAh, vs. the OEM at 2240mAh, so the battery doesn't last as long as my Sony-branded one. For the price, I think it's OK. It just means I have to swap out each battery more frequently. Handy that the kit includes 3 batteries! The charger is simple and feels a bit on the lightweight side, but works well. The little LCD status screen functions super well. I love I can clearly and quickly glance over to check on its charge. Overall, a fantastic product from Smallrig. Their products are always well made and well-designed. This battery kit is no different. Especially for the price, this is a great choice for sure. I'm very happy with it so far!

I have several Sony cameras that use the np-fz100 style battery. These batteries are compatible with my A7V, A7IV, A6700, and A7III. This charger charges 3 batteries at once which cuts down on charging times. This set comes with 3 batteries and a charger for less than what 1 battery would cost from other manufacturers which makes this a great value. The charger is easy to use. It displays the battery level for each individual battery. The batteries perform as well as my OEM batteries. Some of my aftermarket batteries display a message. I haven’t seen it for these batteries yet.

I moved from a DSLR to a Sony A7RV mirrorless a while ago and was surprised by how quickly it drains the battery. I knew that this would be the case but I figured the new Sony OEM battery would last a bit longer than it did. I was thrilled to receive a 3 battery kit with a USB-C charger that is nearly identical in footprint to the single battery AC Sony charger. The Sony OEM battery charges in Smallrig charger and vise versa. So no reason that I would not choose to grab this charger over the Sony especially when traveling light. As with all 3rd party batteries, the actual runtime and durability is the question. To test, I fully charged the OEM Sony (which was new about 5 months ago) and the Smallrig. I ran both for 20 minutes capturing 4K video. At the end the Sony had 89% left while the Smallrig showed 98%. Impressive. But only time will tell how durable these batteries are. For the price and charger alone I think this is a great deal.

I got this kit for my Sony A6700 camera and the batteries work perfectly. The batteries feel well made and I've had no issues with them so far. It's really convenient having additional batteries on hand to swap out when one dies. I do lot of filming and these have really come in handy. They have a good runtime that's comparable to my OEM battery and hold a charge as expected. The included charger works great as well and I like that it will also charge my OEM battery. I like the indicator light that shows when the batteries are finished charging as well. I think the overall design of the charger is really nice. This set is reasonably priced and a good value for everything that's included. It's a great addition to my camera setup and I'm really happy with it.

I was using a mix of Sony batteries, Tilta, and Viltrox batteries in my Sony ZV-E1 and ZV-E10 Mk2 with no issues or warnings. When I moved to an A7V the Tiltas set off the battery safety Sony warning, these Smallrig ones do not and show the battery % with no issues. The build quality and battery life this first week seems to match the Sony OEM models. I went out all day to shoot street and art installation photography, and it lasted approx. 600 shots with a mix of EVF and rear screen use. The included 3 slot charger is lighter in build quality/weight than Smallrig’s #4839 4-channel 65W charger and will take around twice as long to charge the batteries (2-2.9 hours for 4 vs 5 hours for 3). It is nice to have included though and comes with both USB C and micro ports for the power cables. One weird issue that popped up was 2 of 3 batteries showed as fully charged by the included charger but inserted only showed 90-95%. When I inserted them back into the charger they charged for an additional 20 minutes before showing 100%. The batteries charged accurately in the #4839 charger I mentioned.

The full-decoding chip works as advertised; I haven't encountered any annoying warning messages on my Sony A7IV, and the battery level displays accurately. The batteries themselves seem to hold a charge well, and I like that this kit comes with three, ensuring I always have power on hand during longer shoots. The triple-slot charger is convenient, allowing me to charge all three batteries simultaneously. The LCD screen is a nice touch, providing clear information on the charging progress of each battery. The inclusion of both USB-C and Micro-USB input ports adds versatility, making it easy to charge from various power sources. Charging time is reasonable, around 5 hours for three batteries. I have no complaints and highly recommend this kit.
