Awesome charger to have. Charges both batteries quickly (provided you use the proper output power plug). Batteries sit nicely in the case and when it’s unplugged the case makes a great way to keep the batteries in your bag. Plus you can immediately see the charge level on each battery with the push of a button (doesn’t need to be plugged in for that). No need to stick the battery in the camera and power it up anymore to checkout your battery level. Plus it couldn’t get any more compact than it is. Keep in mind it comes with the cable but not the charging plug. It’s all usb c anyway, so chances are you have several bricks sitting around anyway from other devices. Im using a 30W one now without any issues. Build quality is great, as expected from Small Rig.

Typical SMALLRIG functional quality. The short version is that this charges way faster (with the right wall adapter), is more compact, overall weighs less, and is a better setup to my previous travel/home charging setup. If you travel for photography with multiple camera bodies and lenses, weight and packing size is a huge issue. Particularly for airlines with ridiculous packing restrictions like those going to Norway, Iceland, Patagonia, etc. Because of the speed this charges at I actually don't need to take as many backup batteries or a micro-usb type A cable. This SmallRig unit weighs 1.6oz by itself. My old slow dual Newmowa charger weighs 1.5oz, by itself. This is ever so slightly larger, but allows you to store/transport extra batteries in it. I used to transport the batteries in a Tenba battery case, which was 1oz by itself and larger than either charger, regardless if empty or filled. See pics. So, with the SmallRig I reduced what I packed getting rid of the two Tenba battery cases, went from 4 extra to 2 extra batteries, and lowered my carry weight roughly 7.7oz (almost a half a pound) with better features. I shoot landscape, Aurora, and Milky Way so one extra safety battery on my backpack via the 3d Model I created is sufficient, meaning I don't carry the charger into the field. If you don't travel, it still looks better (IMHO), charges faster, uses more common USB-C, has a premium feel and rubberized bottom so it doesn't slide, and allows you to check the status of your batteries without even plugging it in.

Nice little charger that takes up very little space. It can double as a battery travel case so you’re protecting your batteries while also bringing a charger when you travel. I plugged it into an Anker 35w power adapter and can confirm that it charges two batteries at the same time. I’m 99.9% sure all the negative reviews from people who say it only charges one battery at a time or that it charges slow have it plugged into a lower-rated power adapter. The little instruction sheet that it comes with clearly states that you should use an adapter rated at 22.5w or higher. And in that same section, it even says it will work in slow charge mode if you’re only plugged into a 2.4A adapter. The build quality also feels solid and sturdy and it comes with a nice USB-C cable with one end having a 90 degree bend. Nice. I would highly recommend this and will probably just use this instead of my Sony BC-QZ1 charger from now on.

This little thing is so freaking helpful! I'm a traveling media person and I usually have a carry-on and my camera back pack. So, I can't really pack a lot of things. I had another charger that I bought that was great and it came with 2 batteries, but 1. the charging was WAY too slow. 2. It just takes up way too much space. This here - the main thing - FAST CHARGING + saves me a ton of space. Uses USB C port to charge -so it's standard and I already have a ton of USB C Cables. So, if you're looking for something that's fast, light and small - this is it! For the price - it's wasn't bad - I needed to over night it to make it on time and it did! Hope this helps

This thing is built like a tank, seriously impressive. It totally lives up to what they advertised, no surprises there. I'm getting a solid 14.8 volts and 1.2 amps from the two batteries, which adds up to a nice 18 watts total. Plus, it fully charges in just two hours, which is awesome for getting back to work. Definitely a quality purchase!

Excellent for travel. I bought several of these to store my extra batteries. The built in battery check button lets you know the state of charge and then simply plug it in to recharge both batteries. Super compact and actually smaller than the Tenba battery wallet that I previously stored my spares in.
