This winter jacket is not actually “red”, but a beautiful salmon color—light & bright enough to be seen against snow and even at night to some extent. It has a cute brand tag on it: BABY, on a diamond-shaped faux leather medallion on posterior end of jacket (above hips). The jacket snaps closed easily, under the belly, and stays on when she rolls! It is a nice thick jacket that washes well. I think the stuffing is likely polyester batting (?). The inside fabric is soft and slightly fuzzy, in a similar but lighter color The outside is not waterproof, but has water-resistance in snow. Well-made. It fits well on a Frenchie, with adequate chest girth and shortish back length—perfect for a Frenchie dog shape. I do think it runs slightly small. The XL just barely fits our 22lb Frenchie, in terms of girth (length perfect), so I am ordering a size XXL as well. So hard to find a thick winter jacket that fits a Frenchie—this one is great!!
