I like the style of the backpack and how easy it is to just take my pet with me now. I take him with me everywhere— metro, bus, walking in the city, etc. I did have to reinforce the straps after several trips, my dog is 10.3 lbs. I used upholstery thread to do so. I could see the thread coming undone while we were out and I had to be super careful! Recently I bought this Cosydot Pet Backpack Carrier and I'm very happy with it and impressed with all the features it offers. I bought it for my older cat. It's a good size for her 10 lbs, she can sit, curl up, or stand. This carrier has a lot of viewing space on the sides and the front. It comes with a reflection stripe on the sides and front for visibility. There are two padded backpack straps, a waist strap and, a handle on the top for easy carry. The bottom removable base is very firm for support. It seems very durable for my cats size. I look forward to carrying her around as she doesn't get out much anymore, this will allow her to get a new view and some fresh air. The plastic carriers take up more room in storing them or in the car so this seems like a great transport option for anyone who wants to take their pet along. I bought this carrier way in advance so my puppy would get used to it. Unfortunately, I can no longer return it. I used it 1 X for a 12 lb puppy and both straps are tearing away from the carrier. UPDATE: The business reached out to me and provided a replacement product. I am still skeptical it can hold the weight they claim, but am impressed they reached out to resolve the issue very quickly! ... show more

I was looking for something to bring my puppy with me on bike rides, and the local stores had some nice options, but very pricey. None had a solid frame like this one either. A little smaller than I had imagined, but my puppy (5lb rat terrier) will still fit no problem!

I love the carrier. He feels warm and snuggled inside with his favorite stuffed animal. We also loop the seatbelt around the handle to use it as a car seat. Everywhere I go someone always stops to ask me where o bought it.

Added some grommets to put a perch in. Took a few tries to get the bird used to it but he likes now. This is a great alternative to the very expensive bird carriers found elsewhere. Plenty of ventilation.

I do have hard plastic pet carriers…but after watching news clips of people escaping Ukraine with their pets, I realized just how bulky they were to walk with for long distances. This is much better if a disaster happens, this is comfortable to wear & keeps your pets close to you if the need arises.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this backpack for my 7month old mini golden doodle. She is almost 20lbs so It's little tight but she seems to be comfortable inside since she likes to stay in the small space (She is like a cat!) Now I can take her to the busy areas without having any anxiety. Plus this backpack is very lightweight although my puppy is little heavy. lol ... show more
