I picked this up to put in my son's bedroom as he has recently inherited my old gaming pc and monitor when I bought new stuff. Originally I had an old gaming desk that was just too big for his room, so when I saw this come up to review in the Vine program, it looked perfect. Now full disclosure, I have every tool known to man practically and have worked in several fields of construction over the years, so my experience in assembling this desk may not match your own. Having a drill with some hex head bits will save you a lot of time and agony. You can assemble with the return on the right or left depending on preference. I will tell you that the instructions are clear on which pieces go where, but not clear on how they should be orientated. The sides are not marked and you have to try and decipher which side should face where based on the small pictures in the instructions. This led to me having to take more than one part off and flip it around. Not a big deal when you have a drill, but a lot more of an annoyance when you are using the little hex key wrench that comes with the set. Once it was together, it definitely feels sturdy and looks nice. It doesn't feel like a high end piece of furniture because it isn't. But it's also not a flimsy piece of junk like other cheap assemble yourself furniture can be. I like the inclusion of the side storage pouch which adds storage and a touch of aesthetic appeal. It also has an integrated plug with both USB A & C ports for charging wireless devices that sits flush with the desktop. I supposed you could use the plugs for the monitor or other desktop items like a small lamp, but I opted to properly secure and manage all the cables and mount a surge protector strip to the underside of the desktop out of sight for a neat appearance. All in all, it's a great desk for a kid's bedroom or if you are limited on space but want a little area to work. You won't have much room for writing or anything else, but adequate for doing homework, paying bills or other light duty desktop activities. But for the current price of $80, it's a great buy.

Fairly easy to put together. I put it together by myself, but it would have been convenient if I had a second pair of hands. Especially when I had to hold up the shelving and get the screws in. Every packet of screws came with an extra. The only tool that I needed that it didn’t provide was a Philips which most people have. Only needed it for two screws at the top where the plug goes in. I definitely needed to pay attention to where the holes were so I put the desk together correctly. I did have to unscrew one leg and switch it around because the holes were on the wrong side. One thing I don’t like is how much finger prints it shows on the top of the desk. I like that there is a crisscross support in the back of the desk. It’s a small desk which what we wanted for the space in our office.

This desk is compact in size but has some storage space. It was easy to put together, my 10 year old son did 90% of the assembly. It is also sturdy. Built in charger works well. Would highly recommend for small spaces.

This desk was easy to assemble. Its size is perfect in limited space while providing enough space to work on a computer. The adjustable shelves are great for books or a desktop unit. I also appreciate the canvas file holder on the side. It looks great, it’s sturdy and the power options on the top are a great addition. It’s perfect for what I needed.

really good for small rooms. simple to put together, instructions mostly clear, just gotta watch some part orientation. sturdy enough, feels like it'll hold up, not high-end but not cheap either. the side storage and built-in power strip with USB and type-C is a nice perk. reversible setup so you can customize a bit, shelves move as needed. good size for a corner, perfect for my small office. fits a monitor and laptop, but don't expect a lot of space for writing.

We just redid my son's room and put in a queen-sized bed, all said and done, there wasn't much room left in his room for a desk after everything else was in place... We had about 48" on the side of the bed, meaning that a 48" desk would have fit,t but there would have been no room for play, so this 40" desk was the perfect choice... That said, it's a low-cost DIY computer desk, it's not hard to put together but it does take a little bit of time... Once it was assembled, it was sturdy enough for a basic computer desk, the fact that it is reversible it pretty nice as well, making overall fitment in more locations easier...

I needed a small desk for a back bedroom. Nothing that was too big, or nothing that was so small I could not function while working from home. This desk was the answer. The L- shaped design with shelves is efficient when it comes to space saving. The desk is sturdy! I have two monitors in a brace attached to the desk and it supports the weight with no issues. Sturdy. Nice finishing. Easy to assemble. I love the design. I love that it has a built-in power strip with 2 ac outlets, 1 USB port, and 1type-C port. It is small, so it doesn't take up a lot of space. It is 40" wide and the sitting area is 27.6". This something that you need to consider before purchasing. The base is metal and the other parts are wood. It has a reversible design which gives you flexibility and a leeway for customization. The storage shelves can be set up on either side of the desk. This table accommodates a monitor and a laptop.
