When shopping for a new robe online I think its important to read reviews. As everyone has stated- its nice and soft and it will keep you warm. I sit outside with coffee and cigars pretty much every morning to catch the sunrise. So far I haven’t got cold doing that in this robe but I will say the hood is simply too big! I”m serious its pumpkin head size and I can’t imagine who’s huge head they used to make the hood for. Additionally I am 5”10 and wish the length was about 2 inches shorter. It drags the ground going up or down steps. Lastly, I am pretty convinced that this robe is so cheap because the pattern is crazy. I wanted a plain navy blue or something but wasn’t going to pay an extra $30 for that so I have the red plaid pimp version. Let’s be honest, very few men will buy or wear the plaid which is why its so much cheaper than a solid color. That’s backwards for most things whereas more details or design elements = more money. But for hanging out inside or on the back porch its fine. I still feel silly however if someone sees me in it because it just seems a bit gaudy. If you want to feel like a king in a cartoon buy the plaid one lol.

We have to take this everywhere!! His core temp has gone down significantly from three surgeries in three months. He actually slips it on backward as he lies on the recliner, arms into the sleeves with back covering him. I tuck the hood down on his chest. He is cozy warm. It runs a little big. It’s hard for him to find up and down. Highly recommended. It’s a large. Medium would have worked.

These robes have been used for excursions between our third-floor condo and a ground-floor hot tub in Colorado in the winter. My husband and teen son love them. The robes are a nice length, hitting below mid-calf, and the hood provides extra warmth for those cold trips downstairs. We've even bought an extra for any visitor to use. All the teen boys seem to really like the way the robe looks (that hood!) and feels (that thick sherpa fleece!).
