I'm giving it full 5* for being wonderful. My dog was at the top end of the fit for size M, and it's slightly large on him. Not a problem - but I think if he was on the low end of the fit it wouldn't be as warm and the halter fit would be loose. Also, it's kind of long, past his tail. Also not a problem if it's cold and/or snowy. BUT - it's long on the underside also. His pee-pee comes right up to the end of the fabric, and that means he will pee on it (which I would rather not have to deal with that). I almost returned it because of that, but I decided to pin that part up. I'll sew it (ugh!) if that works, because I like this coat otherwise. Dog bodies, same as ours, are weird and different from one to the next. Big picture -- Seems very well made. It's unusual in its style, which I like. The insulation seems warm enough for most winter days here in the Midwest. And, I wanted the halter clips. I do secure my dog in the car, so having a halter as part of the coat is easier. I was afraid it would be awkward zipping it up (especially on a longer-haired dog), but the zipper works very easily. The little clip at the shoulder area definitely makes zipping easier. I'm happy with this coat.

The Medium fit my 25lb mix perfectly. He is long-bodied and it covers him all the way to his tail. It is super-cute! Even on my 50 lb mix of usual proportions, the large extends a bit further down her back than other coats. The elastic straps for the rear legs are tolerable for both dogs. Zips easily and the harness loops seem sturdy enough. Have only worn them in light rain so far. The rain beaded up and did not penetrate the shell. I'm confident these coats will keep them more comfortable in the very cold months.

This fits my Cavapoo just perfect. It keeps her warm and mostly dry, as we have to go out in the rain for her to do her business. Apartment dwellers with no yard or covered area for her to do her business. I with it had a removable hood though, just enough hood to keep the rain off the top of her head. Very well made.

Took 10 years to find the best jacket. In the rain, she was DRY! The fit perfect. She is long in body, skinny in neck, big chest and 13+#. 4 breeds in one. The harness incorporated into the jacket is safe and comfy. She pulls a lot. The faux fur around the neck protects her neck and body. Lining of soft wool. Collar can fold down. An extra tiny closure over haunches ensures good fit. She normally takes small but exchanged for medium. $is very fair. BIG PLUS. .MY DOG "CHINA" IS 15 years old, and LONG. IT COVERED TO BASE OF TAIL ON TOP BUT ALLOWED SAFE EVACUATION UNDERNEATH. My friend has a young dog and she is long legged 4x my dogs size. She loves it and it fits perfectly on her. My dog and I love the violet color. Rain runs off it. Reflectors on top are almost hole coat. My friend ordered red. Equally pretty and functional. She got large. Highly recommend it. Wish I'd found this sooner. U don't know how many winter coats I've gone through with my pup not warm enough or wearing a jacket that didn't fit or wasn't safely secure.

Great looking coat. It is easy to put on, just make sure the zipper is aligned properly, as with any garment. The inside clasp and harness are thoughtful features. The reflective snowflakes are so cute! My little girl is warm and looks like a million dollars. But it was of one the lowest priced options.

I bought this for an 11 lb mix. She is long and thin. I took her measurements and went off the neck measurement. The coat fits her around the neck and length but is a little loose in the body. She does not tolerate the back leg straps as she has very little hair and they rub. The front leg holes are huge! The first time we walked she pulled her front leg back( she is a high stepper) and when she went forward her foot went into the hole and got caught. These huge leg holes also allow air to get into the jacket. I have decided to keep it because I am handy and can modify the holes.

I got this because looked warm and the built on harness. My schnoodle stays warm and it’s no hassle to get on. I love the built on harness. Very well made. Very great buy for money. My dog is 19lbs and the jacket is a medium.
