The bands are pretty strong and you can buy different kinds that might suit you better. Get a large box of clay ammo from Amazon and shoot away. Also, Youtube has a ton of videos on how to shoot.

Slingshot is made of good quality material bit difficult to assemble but doable. I’ve got no real complaints only took a star off because it’s annoying to assemble.

For how cheap it was i expected it to break within the day, but its great, came with extra straps but have not broke one yet.

The jaws on this slingshot are spring loaded. They help hold the band in place. One of mine did not come with the spring to provide the force needed to hold the band. Tried overtightening the screw to compensate but that stripped the screw. So now I have a paper weight (and a scab from being unable to resist trying it anyway). Bands re that securely held in place. I am not a negative reviewer, but this is not a good product. I am now waited on a more reputable company's slingshot to arrive. I would have passed on all this but already bought the target and ammo.

I bought it for my grandson but have enjoyed it so much that I bought one for myself. Note that I am old school so this being a replacement for what I am used to is interesting to say the least. Not sure how long the bands will hold up but so far so good.

I purchased this sling shot to shoot a lead fishing weight over a tree branch 80’ in the air so I could pull heavy rope up to fall the tree the sling shot worked just great I would definitely buy from the seller again
