Slime Tubeless Tire Sealant prevents and repairs flats in tubeless tires caused by punctures up to a quarter-inch. Non-flammable, non-corrosive, and non-toxic, this sealant utilizes Fibro-Seal technology that seals instantly and repeatedly. When a puncture occurs, the escaping air forces the Slime sealant into the puncture wound to seal the puncture, repeatedly sealing the tire for up to two years. This product is virtually mess-free and cleans up easily with water. For use in all tubeless tires, including cars, trucks, tractors, and ATVs, this sealant is compatible with Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems.

  • **5.0 out of 5 stars** - A Game-Changer for Flat Tire Repair!
Size: 24oz
**5.0 out of 5 stars** - A Game-Changer for Flat Tire Repair! I am absolutely thrilled with the Slime 10008 Flat Tire Puncture Repair Sealant! As a frequent cyclist, I've had my fair share of flat tires, but this product has been a lifesaver. The sealant is incredibly easy to use - simply inject it into the tire, and it instantly seals any punctures. No more worrying about getting stuck with a flat tire on the side of the road! The sealant is also incredibly effective. I've had multiple punctures in the same tire, and the Slime has consistently sealed them without any issues. The tire pressure remains stable, and the sealant doesn't affect the tire's performance in any way. What I love most about this product is its convenience. No more carrying around a spare tube or worrying about finding a bike shop to fix a flat. The Slime is a self-contained solution that can be used anywhere, anytime. The packaging is also top-notch. The sealant comes in a compact, easy-to-carry container with clear instructions. The valve stem is easy to remove and replace, making it simple to inject the sealant into the tire. Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with the Slime 10008 Flat Tire Puncture Repair Sealant. It's a must-have for any cyclist, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and convenient solution for flat tire repair. **Pros:** * Easy to use * Highly effective * Convenient and portable * No need for spare tubes or bike shop visits * Compact and easy to carry **Cons:** None! ... show more

  • Managing expectations
Size: 1 Gallon
It has worked for me many, many, times over the years and got me out of many pickles over time. The product was packaged properly with an additional sealed bag around the jug. It arrived with only a small leak near the cap. Wiped it off and put it on the shelf. If your tire is severely dry rotted, has large gashes, holes or has a cracked or severely bent rim this stuff probably will NOT get you back on the road. If you have some minor defect in a passenger or light truck tire, this is a "get me home" or "get me to the closest service station", emergency measure. For known and existing issues, the proper fix is replacing your tire, not being parsimonious, uninformed and looking for some miracle cure over the long term. Keeping a quart of this in your vehicle, along with a 12v mini compressor/inflator and a small tire plug kit; for around 50 bucks, you can get YOURSELF out of 99 percent of tire related issues encountered on the road. Of course keeping a viable spare is part of that plan. If you have any lawn, garden, power or sporting equipment at home such as tractors, hand trucks, bicycles, go carts, atv's, dirt bikes, wheelbarrows, trailers etc., it would be smart to keep some of this handy to get around slow leaks, minor punctures, or other small jams until you can make the proper repair. It does create somewhat of a mess inside the tire but that is to be expected and tire shops hate dealing with this stuff. Not hard to understand that they would charge a fee to deal with it. If you have the ability to change a tire yourself, it rinses off with a little soap and water. I think I see where some of the confusion in the reviews comes in. The label is contradicting, it says, "not for use in passenger vehicles." Right below that it says, "for use in passenger vehicle." I've used it many times in every type of tire imaginable. That said, it is a short term solution and will not work in every situation but does it job well for its intended purpose. ... show more

  • Slime Tire Sealer
Size: 1 Gallon
I have used various brands of spray can type tire inflator / sealers many times. They are portable and convenient but are only a temporary fix at best and sometimes don't work very well. The liquid slime tire sealer is a completely different product. It isn't a pressurized inflator for emergencies. It requires the use of a tool to remove the valve stem core, to install the thick liquid sealer into the tire. A cheap plastic tool was included but it broke the first time I tried to use it. However, I also purchased the slime brand valve core removal tool and it is a relatively easy procedure. It requires some time and effort and it is a little messy but it is a very effective and lasting fix for leaking tires. I have a John Deere riding lawnmower that is over 25 years old. Although the original tires still have most of their tread, they had developed slow leaks that have gotten worse over time. I put slime in all 4 tires and once they had sealed, they remained inflated. The slime isn't cheap but it was quicker and more cost effective than replacing the tires. Do yourself a favor and buy a real valve stem core removal tool, the cheap plastic tool included with the slime is too weak. Bottom line : slime can be an acceptable option for slow leaks and tires that are still in reasonably good condition. However, if you have any kind of sidewall leak or badly deteriorated tires, it will make more sense to just replace the tire. You also should keep in mind that slime recommends only leaving the slime product in the tire for up to 2 years. ... show more
