i was reluctant to buy another duvet cover from Amazon because the last one i bought, that was also more expensive than this duvet set, turned out to be a potato sack. So, when I received this duvet set I was pleasantly shocked that it was not only soft, it was easy to get on - it comes with ties inside to secure to the duvet. The color was exactly as it is in the picture. I'm not thrilled with the pattern but the color is nice, and more importantly, the quality is nice (and so is the price). Easy to use, but I personally do not like duvet covers so I will be using something else. It is such a pretty color though, so definitely recommend if you can handle or don’t mind duvets!

    • Affordable cotton duvet cover

I sleep warm and replacing a microfiber duvet over with a cotton one has made a big difference. Happy to give up wrinkle-free for the comfort of a natural fiber. My comforter is queen size. But with a full/queen duvet cover, the comforter only stayed in place in the 4 corners where there were ties. With this full size cover I don't have excess, empty fabric to deal with daily when making the bed. The only downside is that I have the flowers running from side-to-side rather than from top to bottom because it's a (thick) queen size mattress. I wouldn't have coverage all the way to the platform otherwise. I'm pleased with the construction. The button closure is concealed within a generous hem. I also like that the shams are reversible, with the opening being on the end rather than in the middle. Plus, the pocket that secures the pillow inside the sham actually works as it should. We sleep with those shammed pillows and I've never had to reposition the pillow inside the sham when I make the bed. The design is just printed on and I've only laundered it once but so far so good. In my opinion cold water gentle wash will give this duvet cover a long life. I'll never go back to brushed microfiber!! ... show more
