Just received a box with a new Sleep Bella duvet set. It’s beautifully packed in an elegant, artfully designed box. The duvet is gorgeous, the colors outstanding. But… I specifically looked for Cotton bedding, and this duvet does not look cotton at all: it feels like a synthetic product to the touch! I put it in a laundry machine right away, as they advise, and will see what happens to it after that. The attached labels with care instructions all specify that it’s 100% cotton. After the wash and dry on low cycle, the duvet looks different: a bit rough, not as silky as before… Still in a doubt if it’s made of 100% cotton as it is stated. The color I bought is greenish leaves on white field, one side, and all lemon or something like that (but not yellow!) on the opposite. Nice and bright. ... show more

Smooth lightweight cotton with a nice print. Buttons are covered, and the smell washed away with a quick wash in the machine. It came out of the dryer almost wrinkle free with no pilling. As I was putting it on my bed, I noticed the pillow covers needed pressing along the edges- and as I was pressing, I noticed the discoloration flaw in the material noted on the photo, not noticeable enough for me to hassle with returning it. As a quilter, I know this is something that should’ve been noticed when the shams were being put together. And that’s why I can’t give it five stars. You hardly noticed it once the bed was all made up. Maybe the manufacturer will see my review and send me a new one. If they do, I will update my review. ... show more

This is an amazing set. I love how its reversible so you can do dark or light depending on your mood or even on the sheets you put on the bed. I was nervous about the texture or if it would feel itchy. It doesn't. the cotton used is very comfortable! I was completely surprised. I researched down blankets, down pillows, and a good sheet set for days. I've never been able to get the type of comfort I want on my bed. So after finding crisp, cool, comfy sheets, down pillows that are perfect and the blanket I was nervous that the duvet would throw my comfort off. If my husband steals all the sheet I can't even really tell because this feels the same. Very much worth the money. I have washed it 3 times now with the blanket inside of it, and dried it on a medium setting for 20 minutes then the rest on low until it finishes drying. sometimes it takes 4 times on low because my blanket is so fluffy. The duvet is about 2-3 inches bigger than the blanket that I have, which for me is perfect so its easier to fit the blanket, especially a really fluffy blanket. The pic provided was taken for the review on my blanket being fluffy not the duvet, so ignore that the bed wasn't actually made, just a quick pic. Just so there is no confusion this does not come with a blanket, just reviewing it with the blanket I bought separately. ... show more
