Just received a box with a new Sleep Bella duvet set. It’s beautifully packed in an elegant, artfully designed box. The duvet is gorgeous, the colors outstanding. But… I specifically looked for Cotton bedding, and this duvet does not look cotton at all: it feels like a synthetic product to the touch! I put it in a laundry machine right away, as they advise, and will see what happens to it after that. The attached labels with care instructions all specify that it’s 100% cotton. After the wash and dry on low cycle, the duvet looks different: a bit rough, not as silky as before… Still in a doubt if it’s made of 100% cotton as it is stated. The color I bought is greenish leaves on white field, one side, and all lemon or something like that (but not yellow!) on the opposite. Nice and bright. ... show more

color not as expected. quality is great and it’s very pretty! HOWEVER, I wanted it to look like the photo…a dark, greyed navy blue, but it showed up and it’s a light/bright blue. very beachy. not what i was expecting

I just received them and I put them on my bed right away. I’m not one of these people that wash my linens beforehand. Reason being I don’t rest my head on the duvet set pillow, I rest it on the other pillows that I have on my bed with the sheet set, I have six pillows on my bed , euro shams standard and king. I ordered a king duvet, so I got king pillow covers. I love this set. It does feel like a very light linen even though it’s cotton and supposedly 600 thread count. I haven’t washed these but everybody else says that they shrink a lot so that’s why I didn’t wanna wash them first. So at least I got proper usage out of them if they did shrink later. Many reviews state it shrinks, therefore I don’t think I’m gonna put them in the dryer, I think I’m just gonna let them air dry to avoid shrinkage. I love the pattern. It looks so beautiful that I was so close to buy my mom a set because I know she would love this as well. The pillowcase actually has a stitched rectangular outline, which makes it looks so sophisticated and luxe. I buy duvet sets that are normally $250 plus, think Ralph Lauren, Bombay, Diane von Furstenberg things of that nature. This is not that, but it doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s a gorgeous set. It looks great on the bed. Perfect for teenagers, guestrooms and summer. When it’s so hot that you don’t want anything thick. I love it. I bought the floral one with wild flowers and then I also got the blue floral called beige flowers which I didn’t get yet but I’m pretty sure I’m gonna love it since I love this one.
