I have a hard time ordering furniture online anymore, it increasingly seems like what is shown and what you receive are two different things. But have no fear here...this is a beautiful piece of furniture, real wood with a nice finish, and smart design. The locking clips for the legs don't necessary *feel* tight and secure...but I jostled the table around for awhile, far more than you would under normal circumstances, and not once did it show any signs of accidental release of the legs. While it is surprisingly light for a big wood top table, it is also quite sturdy. Now...my use case isn't the intend one, but it's one I think were there a lot of people like me who could benefit from owning this table. I am an artist and photographer, and but have a very small studio...so space, and the smart use of that space, are key to keeping my work flowing. This is a perfect table for product photography, or like me small animal photography (cats, guinea pigs)...as it creates an artificial "set"...a false floor for example...and you can more easily manage light, angles, etc. And it stows away so easily. Very portable in that way. I love it, and if I had more space, I'd honestly get more. They just look fantastic with a variety of subjects. I honestly have no real cons with this product...a real rarity for me. I think all content creators and small studio photographers should look at this for their studios.     • Not walnut, but probably another hardwood.
The product description gave me the impression this was made of walnut, but the box says "Walnut finish" and the included "instructions" card says "It's the real deal, made of wood!". So I think it's another wood, but it doesn't necessarily seem like pine, so maybe a tropical hardwood. I measured the lip outside at 5.7cm and the underside of the lip at 4.2cm, so the thickness of the tabletop is about 1.5cm. The legs are well installed and snap firmly into place. This table doesn't wobble when set up, as long as your floor is flat. But you can unlock the legs and fold them back under the table for storage. The table is light and easy to handle, even with the legs extended. The table was very well packed and arrived in perfect condition. Setup was as they say. Most of the time was spent removing packaging. ... show more

First off this coffee table looks amazing! The wood is beautiful and it seems very sturdy. I like how the legs fold up which makes it very portable. The legs are strong and fold in and out easily. I will be getting another.

And great execution of that idea! This was incredibly easy to set up and has been a great piece of furniture. The folding legs are such a great touch and it makes it really easy to just slide this underneath the couch or put it in a closet when you need more space.
