Amazing adaptation of the video game. Other long-coop games tend to burn me out, but the frequency of decisions in this game makes it feel a lot more fast-paced. The updates to cards in the boardgame are all very creative and fit the game very well. There's not a ton of "admin" as the game has been simplified quite a bit. The collaborative aspect of it is very fun as it's much easier to set up crazy combos when you have multiple other people to work with. Getting rewards always feels so good - the card rewards are genuinely addictive, much moreso than in the video game. Feels very balanced so far as well. With 3 people, our first run of Act 1 took a little over 2 hours, but that's likely due to it being our first time with the board game. My copy arrived in perfect condition as well, no issues with the delivery.

I bought this as a gift for my partner. We have played the video game many times and both agree this is a fantastic representation of the video game. It took about half an hour to get all the cards (excellent quality) into their sleeves and punch out and organize the components. We played with friends who had never heard about the game and they told us they loved it too! If you or someone you care about like spending time playing the video game version you'll enjoy the board game! And if you enjoy deck building games in general you'll have a great time too!!!!!

This is a really great game. It took about 2 months to arrive, and the package was damaged but the board game box and game inside were untouched. I’ve played it a couple of times and it is extremely fun. I never played the video game version but I can say this game is right up my alley. I have played many cooperative board games and this is honestly one of the best I’ve ever played. The cooperative element is in the form of different complimenting character abilities, individual character decks, and all players take their turns simultaneously, making it feel very much like a team game. 10/10.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I love slay the spire video game so I figured I would give the board game a try. I never thought I would say this, but I love the board game more than the video game! The cooperative aspect is what really sets it apart.

Captures the feel of the game really well. Sunk many hours and reached max accession (difficulty). Love being able to play cooperativly so the card decisions and relics are much more fun to discuss with the team build

Amazing game adaptation! My friends and I usually spend around 4 hours per act but it might be an "us" problem. I expect this time to lower once we are more familiar with the game

The board game is a phenomenal adaptation of Slay the Spire that captures what is loved about the original game. The rules are easy to learn and intuitive, and I believe that the gsme would be just as fun for those that are unfamiliar with the computer game. Its perfect.

This is an extremely faithful and well thought-out implementation of the famous video game in boardgame form. Must also give praise to how well designed the insert organizer is for this game, everything snugly fits, and makes setup and teardown easy for game nights. I will emphasis that this game is meant to be played by at least 2 characters, as it seems the challenges are designed to be around that player count. You can run 1 character solo, but expect it to be a much, much harder experience overall. Only complaint is that green figurine for Silent came damaged; the figure was detached form its base. Other than that, no other complaints.
